Delightful
GAME COMPLETED SEVERAL TIMES
I?m not much of a one for fragmented hidden object games; I prefer to know what I?m looking for, but I make an exception for this game. As well as being breathtakingly beautiful, it has a nice story and interesting game play.
I love the way this series connects fairy tales and legends and brings them together in one game. It is intriguing to see how they do it. And they make it seem so believable! In this one, the Snow Queen turns out to be someone else we recognise. There is also a nod to the last Dark Parables game, The Exiled Prince.
The thing this series is famous for is, of course, the artwork. Snow Queen is astonishing. A fabulous array of beautiful locations (not all of them frozen stiff), scattered all over with so much sparkle and glitter.
And we get to recreate the most imaginative and delightful objets d?art, I for one am reluctant to see them go, when the collection is complete and they must be used in a puzzle.
We also collect morphing objects which increase the speed of the hint refill. And, new to this game, we collect elaborately embellished gems which serve to piece together the various fables that constitute ?back story?.
The puzzles do get a little repetitive, since almost all your efforts consist of playing a couple of specific mini-games I?ve seen only here. Signature mini-games are great, I reckon, lots of fun. But some variety is good too.
There?s a lot to do, and it takes quite a while to do it all, and I for one am a new fragmented object convert.

Wonderful Gem
Wow, what a well executed game. Full of style and beauty. The story is well played out with a good ending. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. The dev team put much time and thought into this. It's well worth supporting their efforts.
The graphics are excellent and set the tone perfectly. Everything about the world is believable. The puzzles and achievements have many layers. You can continually find items that add to bonuses, ie faster hint renewal, complete a set to unlock a background story (6 sets in all I believe). The HOS are unique in that you're shown the items to find instead of words. Very cool!
There is a mini-map that shows areas of interest and objectives to be completed. Very helpful considering the amount of detail of each area that makes the game world seem bigger and more diverse. The artwork is top-notch. The music and sounds blend with the atmosphere seemlessly.
Snow Queen is a game of quality AND quantity. It isn't short. Yet it isn't so long that it becomes tedious. Not at all. I'd play awhile, leave, then come back for more. Overall, it's an enjoyable experience worth investing time & $$$ for :)

Fantastic Game
Wow, this game will keep you guessing about the story line. I didn't want it to end. The artwork is spectacular, the music is perfectly suited to the scenes. The fractured objects are well hidden, but not too hard to see. The morphing objects were not too hard to find, but I had 19/20 and just couldn't find the last one and had to refer to the walkthrough. The minigames were challenging, but not frustrating. It was a long playing game that I definitely recommend. Blue Tea does it again!

A literal feast for the senses
I couldn't believe how crisp, clear, and absolutely gorgeous this game's graphics were when I first demo'd it. I just finished playing and boy, was it an experience! There's so much to see and do that I frequently got lost wandering around and through the rooms but, between the walkthrough and the not-always-helpful map, I managed to complete it. I only resorted to the walkthrough late in chapter 7 when the map didn't point out any more objectives or places of interest, and the hint button just kept giving me the "there isn't anything to do here" kind of message that leaves you hanging. The confusion in this game for me was the fact that every room and hallway was so intricately detailed and colorful that I'd forget where I first saw something and the images just sort of melted together in my head. When objectives or places of interest were clearly marked on the map, then navigating there was very easy although the map is not transportive.
Hidden objects scenes were in the form of fragmented objects, which are always a nice diversion from the usual word lists that we're so used to seeing. At least the pieces were actually from the objects themselves and not in silhouette form, which I don't like as much. You have to revisit some of the same HO scenes again but you always get new objects to put together. Sparkles indicate both puzzles and HO scenes. The puzzles are varied and fun and all can be skipped. I always play in the easiest mode because I want to move along in the story and I like having the extra help available when I need it. The only glaring blemish on this game is the ridiculously LONG hint button which takes FIVE full minutes to refill! Why should it take so long for the easiest play mode, devs? Oh, there are 20 morphing (called 'cursed') objects to find also. Finding them reduces the refill time for the hint button so I guess that's why they start with five minutes first. It gives you the incentive to actively look for them, although it does slow down the gameplay because they are frequently difficult to see against all the detailed engravings within each scene.
There are separate objects to find scattered throughut that when you have collected enough of one kind, a parable opens for you to read. These parables explain the story of how the Snow Queen came to be that way and although they could be more detailed, they do tell the story in fairy tale terms.
All the characters were realistically drawn and the animations and voiceovers were outstanding. The music was so unobtrusive that I can't remember it, but the sound effects of the wind and blowing snow were abundant throughout all the outdoor scenes. To me, this game might be a little too difficult for the HO/adventure gamers that are new to this genre, but that's what the hour trial is for so beginners shouldn't take my comment too seriously and just try it out for yourselves. Overall, this game is an exceptional offering from Blue Tea and I look forward to seeing many more games from them in years to come. I just wish we could have helped the poor frog!

Like Walking into a Fairy Tale
Exquisite art work by true masters and enchanting story-telling help transport you to another world. The puzzles have the right amount of challenge (you don't forget what game you are playing when you try to solve them). I am totally immersed in the story and frankly don't want the game to end!

Gorgeous Graphics!
Blue Tea Games always produces real works of art. This game is very long in length and will take you on a beautiful journey. There's nothing creepy about this game, which is nice for a change. There's lots of color and intricate design. Plus, all the objects your create after you complete an HO scene are stunning. Too bad, you can't buy some of these chachkies! The only con (and this is minor) is that the mini games are a little repetitive. Otherwise, perfect.

It was OK
Visually, this one was great!!! The story was somewhat interesting but not one of those enthralling atmospheres that you just can't put down. Some of the puzzles were fun and challenging and others seemed way too easy and made me guilty for attempting to solve them. It wasn't a bad game by any means, but really just average and nothing more.

great puzzle and storyline!
The storyline captures you from the begining, very addictive so beware! I also love the graphic and the music in the background, realistic yet magical. I would recommend this to all my friends who loves puzzles and hidden objects games.
