Now this is what I call an HOS! Thoroughly immersing, great sound and graphics. Excellent gameplay throughout. A definite keeper! January 20, 2012
wow This is a really great one. Creepy and kinda scary without being overly gross or offensive. And all of the victims are not female.. many are male as well !! how refreshing. This guy is a twisted nut bar creating "art" with dead people. He took offense to an article you wrote,, you are a crime writer.. and he has taken your girlfriend in retaliation. The games begin. You search a run down property that takes you through a perfect balance of puzzles, tunnels and HO scenes. He has rigged cameras and speakers throughout and taunts you as you make your way closer and closer. I liked the little things like his hmmm's when faced with a tough puzzle, the comments he makes in the journal and just the whole suspence feel of this game. Great music, good map.. you need it.. it's huge.. and a very straightforward SG make this a really gg. I did skip two puzzles as I just couldn't grasp what it wanted me to do but only two of many. If you like creepy suspense and /or some really good puzzles don't miss this one. January 16, 2012
What a great story line with superb game play. This game had an excellent story ... even more the bonus chapter in the Collector's Edition. The puzzles were entertaining without being too hard (however, I did find the last puzzle of the main game a little challenging, however I must admit I was in a hurry to see what was next, I used the hint button. Okay, I'm lying, I was all baffled by it, even when using the Strategy Guide's instructions, I just couldn't grasp the way the Strategy Guide worded it and I couldn't figure it out on my own.) I loved the way the creators used commentary as you progressed through the game. The villain (not sure if they named him, if so, I don't remember) was constantly taunting you as your progressed. I really thought that gave the game a unique feel. The HOS weren?t that hard either and of course I always love in the HOS that you have to find an item and use it with another item, or having to find multiple items to complete one item. For example, you may need to find a stack of books, and in the HOS you?ll have to find 3 or 4 books to complete the stack. After the story was over, I played the ?bonus chapter.? This added to the story and took you to an amusement park where the villain kept taunting you there. Once I completed the game, the story ? well I don?t want to say anything. But, I would recommend the Collector?s Edition to everyone. The continued story and along with the rest of the bonus chapter makes it worth the extra money. January 15, 2012
WOW!!! Wow! about sums it up for me. Everything about this release was just fantastic from the visuals to the voice-overs to the puzzles. Took me about 7-8 hours in advanced mode and another 40 minutes for the bonus. Totally worth the CE in my opinion as I needed the guide a number of times to figure out what I missed and to get a further explanation on some of the puzzles. The interview w/the developers was a nice touch. Enjoy!! January 15, 2012
The Best Game So Far This game is the best game I have played so far. There are so many elements, I just had to continue playing into the wee hours of the morning. Psychotic killer Oscar toys with your emotions and mind through this incredible game. Fantastic voice overs and clallenging puzzles. Not to many HO puzzles. Graphics are clear & sharp. Music matches the tempo of the game. Buy the CE as there is a surprise ending in the bonus game. Thanks BF. More of this type of detective game please. January 15, 2012
Excellent! Wonderful game. Good story line that kept you wanting to play. Puzzles varied from easy to moderately hard. Lots of going back and forth to use items you find along the way. Nice map feature to help you remember where you are and where you've been. All in all, a very enjoyable game with hours of play time. January 13, 2012
Awesome Game!! WOW! Loved this game. A few mini games were the best I've played and very different. It never got boring. Lots of scenes to keep you busy for quite a while. The extra content about Oscar cracked me up!! You should make T-Shirts LOL A game well worth buying! January 12, 2012
Superbly sinister! Amazing game! Terrific graphics, captivating storyline, good fact I really can't think of anything that I didn't like about it. The bonus chapter carried on from when the main story finished, yet was set in a whole different location so was equally captivating. Even the Extras were worth a look - especially "Oops" under the "unknown Oscar" tab. Got a laugh out of me! If I was to recommend only one game - this would be that game. January 11, 2012
Time well spent. The amount of rooms/locations and objects are not overwhelming, if you have a fair memory you will be able to remember and figure out how to use all the elements you find across the scenarios. The insights of the villain's mind are delightful. January 10, 2012
Best Game This is the best HOG I have played. It is definitely worth buying. I don't usually reccommend buying a game before playing the hour but if you like suspenseful, challenging (the mini-games are more challenging than normal) great story line games then this is the one for you!!!!! I loved this game! January 9, 2012
