This is a miss This is based on demo which I only played for about 20 minutes. The graphics were good, but not great. I thought the HOs were easy even with some items being somewhat "murky". You did have both traditional and picture HOs which was a plus. The puzzles were good, but again not great. You basically went from one scene to the next performed one or two actions and moved on. I really felt they could have done a lot more with the storyline and the general actions. I don't recommend this game. December 28, 2011
Kitty's Thoughts: Decent Game about China It always wanted to play this game, but a few other better games kinda pushed it aside. Now, I finally got it and wanted to put in my two cents about it. Overall, this is not a bad game at all. Storyline: You play a part as the villager, and for some reason these terrocotta warriors were alive and caused destruction in your village. It is now up to you to figure out what is the cause and save your village. It's a pretty simple story, but there's more than I said that I do not want to spoil. Level of Challenge: I find the game very decent in difficulty. Some puzzles are easy, while others are pretty much mid range. If there are any difficult puzzles in the game, it was because of the lack of understanding of the puzzle. Overall, I strongly suggest to look in your journal more often in this game. While the puzzle itself will not give you clues, the book will note down clues. Overall, I do find more fun puzzles, and they are not repetitive. Visual/Sound Quality: I found the sound in this game very questionable. The game sounds very decent in a way to fit the situation. But I agree with earlier comments that the music doesn't feel oriental enough. There score could of been much better to fit the culture of the ancient Chinese traditions. Fun Factor: Overall, the game is pretty interesting, and it kept drawing me in til the end. I don't mind playing this game again. However the only drawbacks is some of the hidden object scenes. You might find a few items not translated very well. So, don't feel ashamed to use the hint button when you run into them. In the end, the game is good. A lot could be done to make it better. I hope they do more games though. September 9, 2013
well, that was a bust I am fairly good at HOS, but THIS one was boring. The same music, the same looking scene all the time. The game was slow, and not very challenging. And the graphics were not very special either. Glad I did not buy this one, as I did not even feel like finishing the free time. December 25, 2011
Hmmmph... Sorry guys, but this one was a huge yawn for me. I found the graphics to be just so-so and the music was boring. Actually, I didn't even finish the game, that's how much I disliked it. January 23, 2012
I didn't like this game. Comic-like graphics set the stage for this very basic HOG. I found the cursor response was a little sluggish which surprised me as there really wasn't a big graphics drain. This game is slow going with a lot of back and forth, but the feature I disliked most was it took forever to skip the senseless mini games. December 27, 2011
Not Worth Your Time Game starts out good but you soon learn that every time you start the game you have to sit through the beginning story line all over again. Takes too long to load....takes too long between scenes to load. Slow and choppy play...Not worth $6.99....Skip this one. December 24, 2011
Poor Even though the HOS are varied and slightly interactive this game is a split story with no backtracking. It has just one game mode and long pauses from a scene to another one. February 2, 2014
