Not For Me After playing the trial version of the game, I decided this wasn't the game for me. The visual aspects of the game were perfect. I just couldn't really get in to this one. I just did not care for the back & forth aspects of the game. If I were more in to it, I probably wouldn't have minded it. The storyline wasn't strong enough for me to commit to buying it, (even though it was 1/2 off this weekend). This game has great reviews from others. So maybe it wasn't just for me. I only recommend playing the trial version before committing to buying it. Otherwise, I do not recommend this one. December 15, 2012
Insanely Beautiful: 'Dark Parables' Delivers From the instant that the initial loading screen appears, it is clear that this game is stunningly beautiful. The character designs, items, and scenery are incredible and the amount of detail in each locale is astounding. The plot is intriguing (be sure to read the "parables" you collect: they add new dimension to the story,) though it would have been more effective had it been expanded on/clarified slightly. This game is worth the download/purchase for the visuals alone. The Blue Tea games are really something to look at. March 16, 2012
You have to get this one!!!!!! I play 2 or 3 games a day. Today I played this one, I had gotten it from another game site, and had to look it up on Big Fish so I could continue playing. Tomorrow when my check comes I'm buying this game. I will want to play this again. I love game that are more than H.O.. there is more of a challenge. Take my word you will want this game. a little easy, but good anyways I've liked the first two dark parables, and I did like this one...it was a little less challenging, but I only put that at four because I was really having a hard time finding the cursed objects. The puzzle most complicating for me was the door lock with the color requirement; but it was easier than the other games, like I said. It doesn't quite fit with the end of The Exiled Prince, though, as all his princesses were said to have died, and well...she was quite alive, lol. And the fact that it hints at she placed the curse on him, or at least that's what I got of it. Aside than that, I liked the storyline, enough to buy it once the trial ended (which I beat with 20 minutes to spare, which proves my point...) so I could see the entirety of it. I recommend this game to the fans of the dark parables series of fairy tales, and hope that they continue to make more games on them. January 24, 2012
entertaining looked forward to this but the graphics let it down, the hidden objects were a change at first but when you've done a few with this format they got quite boring. January 22, 2012
Dark Parables:Rise of the Snow Queen I really enjoyed this game and it was just long enough to enjoy and keep my interest. I have played many hidden object games and the Dark Parables are my favorite. I can't wait to play it again. January 4, 2012
Not my kind of game This game has the kind of H.O. games that show you pieces of things you have to find in the scene and then adds the completed object to your inventory. I very rarely find a game where this kind of H.O. is fun. This one is not one of the fun ones. If you like this kind of H.O. games or the other Dark Parables games, then you will probably like this one, but I am going to pass. The storyline was slow moving and so was the progress through the game. I played the trial game and was glad when the hour was up. January 5, 2012
A C+ Game I enjoyed this game but found the hidden object scenes too numerous/tedious. The saving factor is that the hidden fragments are pretty easy to find (even when you don't look at the list). There are many areas to travel through and a good map to follow. The map is not clickable but it does help as this game is complicated. This game is enjoyable but its not as good as Dire Grove or Enigmatis. January 21, 2012
