thumbs down boring I love a challenge but this got boring and it was not fun anymore. The other quests were great but this one was terrible. March 17, 2012
Jewel Quest The Sapphire Dragon What a waste of time and money. Boring, boring, boring. No challenge whatsoever. Even in advance, too easy, not like J.Q. Heritage at least some of those boards were very difficult. The hour trial is not long enough to really tell if you're going to like it. I thought I might, because I thought it would get more difficult, but it doesn't. Too repetitive. But mostly not at all challenging. March 10, 2012
Another great Jewel Quest I am a lover of all things Jewel Quest. I bought this one without even trying it and wasn't sorry. Love the different characters, love the options of which additional "skill" you can take to a board. I have played it all the way through and enjoyed it. It can be as challenging as you would like it to be and as with most of the Jewel Quest games there are moments of blazing frustration (at least for me) but the beauty of the eventual success is magnified. LOL Definitely a keeper. May 12, 2012
Have to Admit, It's My Favorite! Since Jewel Quest: The Sapphire Dragon currenty holds the position of my favorite game, I thought I should write a review and explain why. Unlike any other Jewel Quest versions, The Sapphire Dragon has multiple characters, each with a different perspective and an advantage that is useful on varying Jewel Boards. I like being able to switch from character to character, matching the best special trait with each jewel board, but most of all, I like reading each character's diary and seeing the story develop as well as learning more Pack family history. If it were possible to rate the storyline six on a scale of five, I would have done so. Adding to the fun are some interesting and challenging Jewel Boards. All in all, I have played this one twice and will play it again, something that is unusual for me. April 3, 2012
NOT SO MUCH FUN So far I have not enjoyed this episode of JQ. It has deviated too far away from the original game. There is too much story line, it's confusing, and it's boring. Thumbs down on this one. January 22, 2012
This is one of the most exciting games ever!!! I Love Jewel Quest!!! Every single new or old version has been incredible and so much fun to play!!! The different levels are exciting to reach!!! Try it...You'll be glad you did!!! January 22, 2012
Jewel Quest: The Sapphire Dragon Excellent storyline. Playing on relaxed mode gave the opportunity to build each character's experience level. This made playing on advanced mode enjoyable, even with the timer. Some new boards were introduced, which gave a fresh look to the jewel quest series. Earning all the awards was challenging and offered many hours of fun gameplay. Graphics would have been better with just the action scenes. Having to select a character each time before playing a board did become somewhat tedious. January 20, 2012
Unlike previous quests I was not as thrilled with this JQ. Similar board styles as others. Story kept me going till the end. A few new board quirks (flood and electric) but it didn't have the caged monkeys. Hated them, but missed them! January 20, 2012
Love This Latest Installment Love all the Jewel Quest games. This latest installment didn't seem as hard as the "Heritage" game. I pretty much breezed through this one and wished it was a bit more challenging. Great game, though. Satisfies my fix until the next one! January 14, 2012
Fun match three Spent several hours playing, very challenging and fun January 12, 2012
