Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome Strategy Guide
Great, well designed game
One of the best HOGs I have ever played. The graphics are excellent, the storyline is engrossing and the language is perfect unlike other HOGs where it's obvious the programmers are not native English speakers. The puzzles while a bit challenging are not so difficult to make the game frustrating. It's a long game. The only complaint would be that there's a lot of backtracking. Might be nice if you could click on the map to go to a room. Not for children.

Interesting Plot for this HO game
Plot and mini games were great! Very long, which is good I guess depending on your taste. I enjoyed it immensely!

A wonderful game
The storyline is great and voice is outstanding. HO games are few and far between, but, doesn't distract from the overall challenge. Graphics are great. Puzzles are a challenge which makes it a lot of fun.

Great Hidden object game with a few interesting puzzles
Great story line very entertaining, fantastic sound quality, puzzles not too difficult, alot of backtracking but this adds to the story line. Very enjoyable game.

I'm almost finished but this has to be one of the most captivating games I've played in a while. You definitely get value, lots of HOS, twists and turns music OK and if voice gets on your nerves you can silence him!! This is a game that I will play again and again.

Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome
What a challange. I wish I had gotten the collectors edition. I could have used the Strategy Guide. This was one of my free games. FANTASTIC.

Like it, but annoying at times
The storyline is definitely interesting, and when I can move along pretty easily without being confused it's fun. But several times so far, I've gotten stumped and the hints, map, nor journal for taking notes have helped me. My mom has had to save me both times, and now I'm stuck again a third (I'm over 21 by the way, she's gotten me started on these types of games, but clearly she's better lol). This is quite annoying, and I'm developing a defeatist attitude about it. The hints could be like the last similar game, where the arrow points to where you should go next, instead of the hint just saying "there's nothing to do here" because usually, I'm in an area that has something that needs to be done but I need a clue on where else to go to complete the element! I guess this bothers me so much because I was really enjoying the game at the beginning, but now I don't even know if I want to finish it because I'll be daggone if I keep asking my mom for help. She's finished the game, so why can't I?!?
