A TOUGH CHALLENGE
I really enjoyed this game. A good story line, just the right amount of HOS and a good degree of challenge. A genuine "Adventure/Hidden Object" game which is my favourite.
Help is limited to vague hints and I only resorted to the walkthrough twice! You really need to look for some items so be thorough.
Great graphics, great story. I did think that the tapes were not needed and were a bit of a pain.
Well done on a fantastic game.

Excellent!
What a brilliant challenging game, absolutely loved it! The storyline fits in so well with the other 2 games and looks like a 4th is on the way! Brilliant crisp clear graphics particularly in the HOS which were just beautifully created. Being British it did take me a while to understand that a bandage was actually a plaster we call here in England, just made me giggle that one! Superb!! :-)

One Problem, but Still a Great Game!
This game was just as fun to play as the previous. The Nightfall Mysteries really are my favorite games to play and my favorite series. I was upset when my free trail expired. I want to keep playing. The scences and graphics are excellent and beautifully done. The only thing I don't really like about the game is how the characters' appearances keep changing. In each one Christine and Viggo look different. So much so that there isn't any physical similarities between the characters of each game. Their look changes with each game. It's almost like their entirely new characters with the same name. However, this doesn't affect the gameplay. Despite the difference in the characters' appearance, these games are great!

eh - not as good as previous Nightfall Mysteries
I only played part of the trial hour of the Collector's Edition - I ditched it because it was really kind of boring. The repetitive music was getting annoying, and there were too many unrelated found objects - it was taking too long to get into the puzzle of playing the game. I won't be purchasing this one.

Excellence across the board...
Nightfall Mysteries: Black Heart Collector's Edition was pure genius and well thought out. All of the elements of a superb, thought-provoking & challenging game are included. The HOG's were just the right amount without being overbearing. Many of the mini-games were unique in nature & not repetitive (love that!) Voice-overs were well-placed, good quality and not lengthy. The map was a bonus & the objects collected along the way made logical sense when placing them. No complaints here!

Pretty good game...
I actually found this game a little long winded. The graphics are good. The voices were spoken quite quickly, as if the "actors" were rushing. I found it a little disconcerting to listen to the characters in the game speaking without moving their mouths; although they did blink their eyes at times. I really liked having a map as well as the journal to refer to throughout the game. I like maps... The hidden object scenes were at times irrelevant to the game. For an example, in the helicopter crash, you had to find items that had no relation to a helicopter. It would have been nice to have to search for helicopter-related items. The puzzles were challenging, which was nice. I had to use my noggin a few times. There is a skip button if needed, and the hint button recharged quickly. The bonus game was good. Although short, it took time to complete as there were a lot of tricks to finishing it.

OK for a Collector's Edition
This was an enjoyable game, although sometimes I had trouble manipulating objects, etc. The HOGs were OK, the artwork was really good, the voiceovers great, but there was SO MUCH walking around....the puzzles were challenging enough for me, but I just don't think it was worth the 13.99 - oh well
and the story is so familiar to us all now, somebody must get saved from the evil doers going through the spooky mansion blah blah ..... guess I am jaded now!

Excellent Game!
The developers (VAST) did an excellent job! The plot kept my interest, the graphics were well-done, the voiceovers were good. I highly recommend this game.

A good challenging HOG. Not too childish, like some of them are. Enjoyed it.
