Backing Good Ol' Britain
This game has several nice features which makes it quite enjoyable to play.
Each scene is one of the most famous London sites, very well photographed. You visit the British Museum, St James Park, Trafalgar Square and a few others in search for items and to solve puzzles.
The HO Scenes are neat, the hidden objects easy to spot. The puzzles are inventive, pleasant, and offer a fair level of challenge. They can be skipped and their instructions are clear.
You travel directly from one location to another by clicking on it on the map. In each one, a brief summary of its history is available.
There is only one Mode but you can choose to play with or without hints at the start.
An interactive walkthrough, integrated in the game, tells you point by point as you go along what to do next if you get stuck.
The voice-overs are quite good and the characters you meet very picturesque. Dialogs are well written and full of british humor.
All in all, a very interesting trip around London, relaxing, refreshing, moderately difficult, and quite imaginative in some respects.

Excelent
This game has the most beautiful graphics that have ever seen, sharp and clear, mmm, what a joy to look at . The voice over is excellent and so is this true event that took place in London. But Be warned, the game is very hard to do with not to much instructions. As you struggle along the way and yes i got frustrated at times because you really have use the old noggin and figure things out. This is when the map comes in handy. Yes it comes with a simple walkthrough. I say simple, meaning to the point and with no visual interactive so one can see how it is done. Nope just to the point. Regardless, it is a well made up game and frustrated or not i would buy it again because it truly is absolutely gorgeous to look at and to be able to learn a few things that i didn't even know of.

At last a game with no nasty undercurrents !!
I loved this game. At last a game that didn't involve the occult, the afterlife, witches, voodoo etc etc. Sadly this will probably be my last review as due to the above I shall be cancelling my membership as I find it almost impossible to buy a game these days as the vast majority seem to be obsessed with the occult, which I am not hence the reason I enjoyed this game so much. It was good straight forward seek and find and use. I loved it. Thank You

A Good Big City Adventure
I have liked all of the Big Story Adventures. The London Story didn't start out with a lot of information and felt a little confused about what I was supposed to be doing. As I got farther into the story, I enjoyed it but found a lot of running around, some of the hos a little difficult to make out the objects and nothing yet fit together. I'm sure that if I had played more than just the demo, I would have finished more of the puzzles since the pieces were scattered all over the place. I liked the walkthrough attachment that helped answer the questions I had when I couldn't find something (the valve in the tree in St. James Park). Overall I liked the game and would recommend it.

Another great Big City game!
Oh, well done! The visuals, the music, the clarity, yet challenge of the hidden objects, the historical tidbits - I so enjoy this series. I like seeing the mini-games changed up a bit. Keep going - plenty of cities left to explore!

JOLLY GOOD' TRIP...I MUST ADMIT...
I was totally excited that Big City Adventure games now had a story...of course I have purchased Big City games but this one is by far quite a 'brain thinker'...not just H0 scenes...and must congrates the department on the graphics which were five star...I enjoyed learning about all the sites in England and being a 'history buff' I read all...after you get the hang of the 'map' and the 'walkthrough' its easy to get around ... IMO...the 'mini puzzles' are different than the average set in a game and a bit of a challenge for me....all wrapped up its a 'four star +' game!

Not your traditional Big City Adventure Game
I enjoyed playing this game. I own all the Big City HO games and this one is more adventurous than the others. This version is more like your current HO games where you search and explore. I just purchased it and am looking forward to completing it.

Somewhat disapointed
I'm a little disapointed.Generally,I love Big City Adventure games because there is no deep dark mystery to solve.Just a straight-up hidden object game. This one has introduced a mystery to solve. Next time, please get back to hidden object. There are enough dreary mysteries on Big Fish.

This game was long and fun! A jolly good time. I love the map for easy trips back and forth. All around good game!

It's an okay game. Classic is better
This is not what i was expecting. Big City Adventures are usually straight Hog, but this is a storyline. Not sure what to do have the time. The guide is ok, but does not show how to solve puzzles.
