Did not like this - didn't even finish it!
I really did NOT like this game! It was incredibly boring - the storyline was something an 8yo boy might like, which is ironic as it was about tracking a couple of about 8yo boys.
The graphics / scenes were okay. Bare bones really - nothing special or extra there.
The Hidden Object scenes were okay. It was interesting that you had to use your Items within the Hidden Object scenes - I'll give them that!
I paid for this game (I never do 1hr tests) but maybe I should have, because if I did - I wouldn't have wasted my money here.
Not recommended.

No mystery in Surface
The video clips are not a good addition. Uninteresting story. Very predictable hidden object finds. I should have read more than the first few reviews before buying it.

Vibrant Art and Colors--
A masterpiece of art, however, hidden objects were a bit obscure within the art work. Story line was creative although did not grab my attention. Reviewing demo only. May wait for standard version.

Another Good HOG - Nothing Super Special
I have to agree with Rescue Helo's assessment. The game has great graphics and voice overs, however it is just another typical creepy Hidden Object Game where you have to save someone from some evil entity.....yada yada yada..

Hidden Object Game "Done Right"
Wish there was more chapter's to the challenge, overall very good.

6/10 hidden object game
Maybe it is because i only tried the trial, but this game didn't really got me excited as many other games would have...

A surprising gem - well balanced and designed
I bought this game based on the reviews and I'm so glad I did. What a surprise. An engaging game that strikes a really great balance between challenging but intuitive puzzles that don't interrupt the storyline. A nice balance of hidden object, adventure and brainteasers. I can't really fault the gameplay at all. I think the visual styling is the only thing that could be easily improved (the characters ratherr than the artwork). Would love to see a sequel with as strong art direction as Drawn.
Great work team.

It was OK!
Kidnapping is not the most original storyline but I love Elephant Games so I bought this one. As many other EG games, they use live actors and voice acting but too bad this one's videos look blurry and pixely (?). Mouth movement and text don't match as all of their other games. Some part of the scenes when you zoom it in, is blurry on the edges as well. The bad guy, looks like Elvis to me with white shirt and sunglasses, definitely not the bad-guy type. What I hate as well is the HOG scenes you have to combine your inventory items which means if you don't have it, you can't finish it. The hint button is not very helpful. It is confusing to be exact. "Use XX on the library on the first floor on the dungeon", it uses lots of position that it confuses me as a non-native English speaker. While I enjoy EG immensely, this one is somewhat missing a certain charm to it.
