I love this game the game is attractive, i love it August 4, 2012
Worth CE Price I really enjoyed playing this game. I played it mostly in the dark and it made it more creepy. It was well made and I would recommend the Collectors Edition over the Standard which is rare for me. I bought this with the sale but I wouldn't have minded paying full price, had I. The Standard edition will have a fitting ending. I assume they will cut off the part that makes it turn into the CE but the story was completely wrapped up in the bonus chapter which gave it great closure and it made more sense to what was really going on. The bonus chapter takes place in the creepy lighthouse area you keep seeing throughout the game but never go to. I was very happy I got to explore it and better yet I was playing in Hardcore mode and the bonus game kept my same settings :) I only needed the strategy guide a few times so the game was the perfect challenge. My only disappointment is that in a hardcode mode, I expect to see no sparkles and the hidden object scenes were sparkly and lit up which I didn't like. Also the storyline didn't make much sense and I was really confused til I played the bonus chapter. I usually hate when developers do that but this game was sooo good and the bonus chapter wasn't just some bad add on but really added to the greatness of this game. I also liked that you only visited each hidden object scene once and there were enough to satisfy my hidden object addiction but not so many I dreaded seeing one pop up. I look forward to the next one! xx May 16, 2012
fun hidden object game was to short of a game but very entertaining hate the endings their never complete April 22, 2012
LOVE HAUNTED HOUSES I can't give this five stars, as I wasn't totally engrossed. I wanted the hour to end, as there was too much back and forth, roaming around aimlessly, and not knowing what to do. And what is up with the camera? Maybe I need to play the tutorials. The hint system is wonderful--just what I love, as it just points you in the right direction. The detailing in the house was wonderful. Just what an old house should be!!! April 15, 2012
Kinda short for a CE Loved vanishing hitchhiker, but this one is not as good. Graphics pretty good except in HOS scenes, where they were murky and grainy. Had to use the flashlight a lot. Good storyline, HOS interactive. Nice touch with the inventory reconstructions. Good puzzles. Music is a little "shivery" as it should be. Only 6 hours on casual play even with chapter bonus. Still, a good game, and a good deal since I got it with BOGO. April 15, 2012
A Very Good Game I enjoyed this game and would recommend it. April 15, 2012
