I Really Tried to Like This! So excited to read that this game is a long one, so immediately downloaded it. Started playing and noticed that the graphics were so-so. A bit disappointing, so increased the brightness to see if that would help. It didn't. Found the game irritating with how the HOS were set up and the items you were supposed to find. Broke my cardinal rule about using the hint button, but that really didn't do anything either! Sorry, not a buy for me today. April 11, 2012
I Really WANTED to like this game This game looks like it would be right up my alley, but upon playing it, I discovered that there is not a whole lot to like. The hidden objects in the game are sometimes regular HOS but other times you have to find pieces of a whole object. The size perspective is wrong and the objects are sometimes very difficult to see. The game does allow you to adjust the brightness, which is a plus. You spend a great deal of the game going back three locations to get some object that you need to move forward. I don't mind that once in a while, but when it is the basis of the game it is a bit frustrating to me. The game is also VERY slow at loading and loads a lot! The plot looks typical but perhaps intereting, but to be honest, I could not muster up the interest it would take to delve deeper into it. I may end up getting this game when it comes out as a regular edition, but with all the great CE games out there, this would not be on my CE want list. I would recommend trying out the trial, it may be a game that you will love, but it is not one of my favorites. January 3, 2012
Coulda been a hit... What happened here? Good plot, fine art, and spooky background music helped create a nice, creepy atmosphere. But there are so many irritating glitches in the gameplay I didn't even spend the full hour playing. Somebody rush to get it to market, or what? Too bad... January 2, 2012
Not applicable This game has one excelent thing; a button that allows the control of the brightness of the graphics, which are are good, The voice off is very nice and clear. But then, right on the first scene that are lots of details locked, available only in the CE. Which means that just by playing the demo I cannot judge the interest of the CE version of the game. Based on the demo, after just 25 minutes I got bored to death. And so, If the forthcoming SE version is just like that, then this is a no-no for me. And that's why I can not qualify or recommend the game, nor will I buy it, because I feel I didn't have material enough to form an opinion. January 2, 2012
Yawn Not sure why, but this one bored me. I quickly finished the trial and deleted it. January 10, 2012
curse at twilight theif of souls im sorry the fact that i have to stop and look for coins to in every screen shot and when i fins a oblect for my inventory,i then have to find the peices of it...im sorry but it just takes away from the fun of the whole game... January 1, 2012
Too dark, not challenging Not at all challenging. The brightness can be adjusted but I did not find that helpful. I thought the graphics could have been better. I played 30 minutes of the demo, that was all the boredom I could stand.... January 2, 2012
Boring! I like the storyline, but the game itself was boring. September 14, 2013
Missed a lot of points This game had a lot of potential - but never made it 1. Story line is good 2. The objects are very tiny 3. Your curstom cursor - couldn't you make it even smaller 4. The status bar is way to big - takes too much space. Pass it along. February 23, 2012
missing pieces started out good until I had to locate pieces to handle at the owl tree. could locate only one. Guide no help January 1, 2012
