Not my cup of tea (based on demo) I should start by saying I'm not actually a huge fan of story-lines involving the fey, but I'm not going to count that as a negative in this review. It was actually done quite well. What I couldn't get past was the lack of engagement. I actually got bored. There wasn't much of a challenge to the mini-games I played - the answers were right there in front of you, no real thinking involved. I also couldn't really take to the voice over - it's unusual to hear a "British" accent in these games, but her's just didn't quite sound right - don't get me wrong I think it was probably genuine, but there were traces of the East End that kept appearing and disappearing like the fairy folk! I did quite like the idea of the hidden fairy collectables, but again this was slightly spoiled by the fact that the same two hidden fairies kept cropping up, taking away any possible challenge once I knew what to look for. Sorry, this one is not for me. It's not often I delete a demo before the hour is up. December 17, 2013
Pretty isn't everything This game has some very pretty graphics and some very pretty music. And that's about it. (Plus some of the music and graphics were awful.) I normally like this type of fairytale story with a woodland setting, but this game just did not engage me. I just could not get into it. It's one of the only games I've played where I thought, this would be better for kids, except for some of the creepier elements. The story was boring to me, the objects and tasks didn't make much sense, and some of the graphics were very awkward looking. It's a disappointment. July 28, 2013
No sound I found I quite liked this game, the graphics were okay, though not the best. However the one thing I disliked there was no sound at all.. Overall I enjoyed this game, but stopped playing it since the sound didn't work, not easy to play a game that is quiet. If I wanted no sound I would have muted it. Fix sound problem and I will fix the rating after completing the game. July 6, 2013
Award winner! This game is destined to win the award for dumbest looking monster in a BF game. Of course, the characterization fits well into the whole premise of this game. It's pure fantasy with some of the worst characters ever to appear in a game. The artwork is average at best. The HOS are some of the worst I have seen - little bitty objects in a maze. Gameplay is easy, which is good because the HINTs aren't good. This is one of the worst games I have seen on BF. June 23, 2012
Waste of time This was by far the most boring HO game I have ever played. I hated the fantasy story and am more into the solving crimes HOGs. February 28, 2012
