Paintings are not very alive. I played the demo for the full hour and had no trouble figuring out the game, it was boring actually. The puzzles easy, the background music was just annoying. The graphics were okay but nothing spectacular. The only good thing about this game is the fact it let you know when an area was clear and you did not have to search it any more. Not worth any kind of money as far as i am concerned. February 21, 2012
Makes you have to think Over all excellent, its a game worth trying. This is something different. Way to many players complain about the same ole game constantly. Here it is and I hope some will be satisfied. I am, and thanks for making a difference, challenging us to think. Love it. February 22, 2012
finally an adventure game I can do I'm so tired of all my adventure games where I get stuck and have to find walk throughs, strategy guides etc- usually to give up and find something easier. Here's a game that I was able to figure out fairly fast. Even though you do a few "unusual" things they are easy to figure out- a coin in the mailbox- the slot looks like a coin would fit...glad I gave this one a try and will probably buy it. No Map, no handholding....you're on your own....YES!!!! I just chanced upon this game and boy was it like a lucky dip! Totally enjoyed this one! Not really that hard it is simple enough to figure out what to do next -your mind just need to think a bit which is what I like in a game. Lots of mixed reviews on this one and fair enough - it is listed as HO but there is no HOS at all it's more of Adventure. Tick all the boxes for me - No VO, no map, no clues (there is a hint button but I hardly used it) no hand holding....finally a game which lets you play and figure out what to do instead of leading you each step of the way. More of this please BF cos this is what gaming is about. Give this a try you might actually enjoy it. October 25, 2012
Wonderful, different and, yes, weird (but who says that's bad?) About 60 seconds into the demo, I knew I had to have it. The biggest challenge to this game is thinking, and you do, in fact, have to do a lot of that! I love the silence of this game, i.e., no speaking, barely any written words. The music adds a nice ambiance to the silence. I love the surprises. I don't find it frustrating to have to follow my own dots. And I don't find it boring to use logic, even if that logic is a bit illogical. One of the things I love the most is being able to play with the butterflies. Place your cursor just beneath any of the butterflies flutterbying about and see what happens. It adds no benefit to the game, but is a guaranteed smile moment. I agree with many of the other reviews... it is good to be forced to think for oneself. We too often take the easy way out. I'm glad we are being given a chance to do something for our mind as well as our funny bone. Give this an honest try. If you let go of all your preconceptions on how these games we love so much should be played, you might surprise yourself with this one. February 21, 2012
What fun this was It took me a minute to catch on but once I did this game was a lot of fun. The graphics are a bit crude but that's okay. The puzzles aren't hard and there is a lot of running back and forth. But all it takes is a bit of logic and you will zip through. February 22, 2012
Enjoyable Puzzle/Adventure Very enjoyable so far. I completed the first two areas with seven minutes left in the trial. You may be confused in the very beginning but you'll catch on pretty quickly. Once you get the hang of it , it's not hard but rather interesting and fun, especially if you like puzzle/adventure games. No Hidden Object scenes which is a big plus for me. It's a relaxing game, lovely to look at with clever but not too hard puzzles. Not sure I'll use a credit if it's going to be short.. Anyone finish it? February 21, 2012
Short but enjoyable I won't go into detail as many other reviewers have already done that (better than I could) This is not a HOG in the usual sense and I wouldn't really call it an Adventure game! It took me a while to work out what I was meant to be doing so it would have been nice to have a bit of a tutorial at the begining. I liked that when an area had nothing left in it to find or do there was an 'area clear' message and this was needed because an area still sparkled even if it was finished with. The puzzles were simple enough and certainly the longer I played the easier it was to work out what to do. The game is quite short and each 'painting' event has the same format - there is no real story. I enjoyed it. February 22, 2012
Confusing Too much work figuring out what to do next. Hints aren't much help. February 21, 2012
Good adventure game, put on your thinking cap I was not sure after reading some of the reviews, but less than 3 minutes in the game I knew I would definitely purchase this adventure game. Sure, it's not the hardest of games for seasoned adventure players, but it is somewhat challenging, plus I found it interesting. Storyline is there, you sort of "get it" as you progress. All in all no regrets. Puzzles are very easy, hint system works well not revealing too much, just a "hint" really, pushing you in the right direction, or making you scratch your head, and I liked that a lot. All in all, I call this game a nice little gem. February 22, 2012
