Terrific Game!!!!! I have to say that I have not enjoyed a game as much as I have this one in quite some time. The graphics were amazing! The voices were realistic, as were the figures. The music was awesome. I especially liked that some of the hints in the notebook were interactive. There were no glitches or slow times at all. The bonus content was equally as impressive as the game itself. I would highly recommend this game to everyone! January 22, 2012
Great blend of HOG, Puzzle, & Adventure **MY OPINION** Great game, the ending definitely leaves it open for continuing. Even in regular mode it makes the player think, so it might be a little frustrating for beginners, but a quick glance at the strategy guide will help. **SL (Story Line)** Very well thought out, consistent through out the game, stays on focus and each chapter pertains to it. **STRATEGY GUIDE** It is in the CE version and even covers the bonus extra play, but only goes to chapter 2 in the trial version. **SCREEN MODES** Full screen or Wide Screen (the game opened on my widescreen laptop without having to choose that filled the entire screen. **CURSOR** you have the option of regular or custom. I played with custom and not problems at all. **SOUND** You can contol music, game sound, and voice overs separately in the "options" panel. **PLAY MODES** There were two types: Regular and Expert. Regular mode the skip feature and hints recharged faster and there were active areas to show areas that needed to be investigated further. Expert mode the skip feature and hints recharged slower and there were no active areas shown. **INTERACTIVE HELP** you have the option of choosing if you would like to use it or not. **GRAPHICS** were great, automatically opened in wide screen on my laptop. **VOICE OVERS** this game has it and you can control the volume of it in the "Options" panel. They were much more realistic than some games in that the child didn't sound like an adult trying to talk "child talk". **MAP** There was no map, but it would have been nice. There was a lot of moving back and forth that took several clicks each time, but still it didn't take away any postitives of this game. **PUZZLES** I am a huge fan of puzzles, and really enjoyed these. To me, they were not difficult to work, the challenge was figuring out the best solution, (or steps in getting from point A to point Z) the steps in between. **HOS (Hidden Object Scenes)** Not difficult. Objects that are in clear view written in black, and the objects you need to interact in order to find are written in green. There were a few items that I had clicked on several times and finally gave up and used a hint and it turned out to be the item I had been clicking on, so a few of them (not many) you will have to click in just the right spot. There were also a few items that took 3 steps to complete. **HINTS** They simply recharge at different rates depending on play mode and nothing to collect to gain more hints. **CE (Collectors Edition)** The bonus extra play was very nice. I really liked the twist on the little imp's origin and interaction with it on the bonus play. February 8, 2012
The usual HOG -- NOT. Game starts out with the usual overused note that arrives and calls you off to begin your adventure. The genius of this game is while it starts out like so many other HOGs, after the first 20 minutes its feels completely different because they have added a few uncommon animations and eerie twists. Lots of object puzzles for those that appreciate them versus only running around looking for items in adventure games. My game of the year. March 1, 2012
Best Game Ever!!! Got to share what a joy this game is! Absolute favourite so far, without doubt, and I've played hundreds of games!! Love the story from the moment i started the game, fantastic concept with the door knob with a cold! brilliant idea that one, give the developers a pay rise because they deserve it!...the HOS were a bonus with interactive play and i loved the video drawings too, it really is something different this game. Fantastic graphics, clear voices, challenging mini games but not frustrating. Really don't want to finish this game, just wonderfully developed and well written. 10/10 :-) February 27, 2012
Great game with a few scare factors I loved this kept you twisting and turning but designed that you could figure it out if you tried> graphics were good and smooth and it had a cool story line. Definitely worth the time and money. February 11, 2012
Witches' legacy - fun... great game, good story with excellent graphics. game's for me might be a little longer, but the story is excellent. Mini-games are easy to play. I liked the characters in the game because they are real people, which is not often seen in games, and always cheer me, although there are only 3 live great game. February 5, 2012
Loved the little Imp! This was an adorable and fun game. It is a masterpiece! I can with all honesty tell you when I downloaded the game I thought this was a game I was not going to enjoy I was quickly proved wrong. The game captured me from the get go. Beautiful scenes topped with clever programming skills. The notes in the book were extremely good. The addition of finding pieces of drawings and then the merge to tell more of the story was a knock-out and you could go back and replay. A touch of genius. I played in Expert Mode. The Hint system came in handy when I was hopelessly lost in my travels. The puzzles were at the right difficulty level for me. The music added to the fun of the game. I did not have to use the Strategy Guide. Believe me I would in a heart beat if I felt the need. The length of the game was quite satisfactory. I would recommend this game as worth considering for an age group of 10 yrs and older. Truly entertaining. January 24, 2012
Enjoyable I loved the missing child drawings that came together to provide clues, that was different. A lot of backtracking which came close to annoying, but I do love lots of areas to discover and places to go. A lot of HO piles which was almost too much, would rather have more interesting puzzles, I love the creative ones. Good story line. The bonus play was way too short so I don't think the CE was really worth it. Come on guys, for double the price? Really? Any how, even though it was short it was fun. I loved the little imp and how it comes into play, wish there was more of that in the game. May 14, 2012
REALLY enjoyed it I played CE version, fine artwork, guide was there if you needed it, however, if you needed to be pointed in the right direction, hint button would point you. Full screen picture, always a plus. Interactive HO's and some interesting characters. Music I usually turn down, so really no comment on that. Some interesting puzzles, and the bonus game went with the story and makes you think there will be a sequel. I was glad I bought the CE version. March 12, 2012
So COOL game!!! I wasn't disappointed this game! The magnificent drawing, remarkable live actors! Not so difficult, but also not so easy game. I recommend to its all! January 23, 2012
