Great Game But Seems too Short
This game was so much better than expected, and although I only played the CE demo, I can say with confidence, that the quality is excellent. The graphics and use of real people within scenes, and the other touches wiich were not like any other game I have played lately just shine. However, the only thing that is stopping me from buying the CE is that in the hour demo, I completed nearly 2 of the 4 chapters, which seem way too short for a CE game, and I am a slow player. I have to buy CEs wisely, and I think I would realy enjoy the rest of the game, but right now, I cannot justify spending the money on a short CE game, no mattter how great it seems. I suggest giving the game a try, as it is very amuzing and entertaining, and extremely well done.

Best Game Ever!!!
Got to share what a joy this game is! Absolute favourite so far, without doubt, and I've played hundreds of games!! Love the story from the moment i started the game, fantastic concept with the door knob with a cold! brilliant idea that one, give the developers a pay rise because they deserve it!...the HOS were a bonus with interactive play and i loved the video drawings too, it really is something different this game. Fantastic graphics, clear voices, challenging mini games but not frustrating. Really don't want to finish this game, just wonderfully developed and well written. 10/10 :-)

Great blend of HOG, Puzzle, & Adventure
**MY OPINION** Great game, the ending definitely leaves it open for continuing. Even in regular mode it makes the player think, so it might be a little frustrating for beginners, but a quick glance at the strategy guide will help.
**SL (Story Line)** Very well thought out, consistent through out the game, stays on focus and each chapter pertains to it.
**STRATEGY GUIDE** It is in the CE version and even covers the bonus extra play, but only goes to chapter 2 in the trial version.
**SCREEN MODES** Full screen or Wide Screen (the game opened on my widescreen laptop without having to choose that filled the entire screen.
**CURSOR** you have the option of regular or custom. I played with custom and not problems at all.
**SOUND** You can contol music, game sound, and voice overs separately in the "options" panel.
**PLAY MODES** There were two types: Regular and Expert. Regular mode the skip feature and hints recharged faster and there were active areas to show areas that needed to be investigated further. Expert mode the skip feature and hints recharged slower and there were no active areas shown.
**INTERACTIVE HELP** you have the option of choosing if you would like to use it or not.
**GRAPHICS** were great, automatically opened in wide screen on my laptop.
**VOICE OVERS** this game has it and you can control the volume of it in the "Options" panel. They were much more realistic than some games in that the child didn't sound like an adult trying to talk "child talk".
**MAP** There was no map, but it would have been nice. There was a lot of moving back and forth that took several clicks each time, but still it didn't take away any postitives of this game.
**PUZZLES** I am a huge fan of puzzles, and really enjoyed these. To me, they were not difficult to work, the challenge was figuring out the best solution, (or steps in getting from point A to point Z) the steps in between.
**HOS (Hidden Object Scenes)** Not difficult. Objects that are in clear view written in black, and the objects you need to interact in order to find are written in green. There were a few items that I had clicked on several times and finally gave up and used a hint and it turned out to be the item I had been clicking on, so a few of them (not many) you will have to click in just the right spot. There were also a few items that took 3 steps to complete.
**HINTS** They simply recharge at different rates depending on play mode and nothing to collect to gain more hints.
**CE (Collectors Edition)** The bonus extra play was very nice. I really liked the twist on the little imp's origin and interaction with it on the bonus play.

More imaginagion.
I found that most of those adventure/HOG games are usually good with the graphics, animation, and sound, but most are just following a formula. There are very few that try to think outside the box or add anything new.
*Spoiler*
This game has added a little more with imagination. I loved the girl's drawings that added more to the tale. I was surprised by the imp. I like when I click on something randomly, there is a reaction. In all, it is better than average. I would have given it 5 stars, but it relied too heavily on HOGs and objects were difficult to find. I frequently had to use the hint button.
Overall though, a very good game.

Witches Legacy The Charleston Curse
I enjoyed this game so much. It wasn't too dark, you could see all the objects in the hidden object puzzles and there were some interesting factors to get to the hidden object puzzles too. The only thing I had against the game is, it was confusing because there were too many rooms and I got lost.

Good Game
Graphics weren't bad, hint loading wasn't bad, pretty easy to figure out, but enough of a challenge on the hide and seek.

Creepy, beautiful, and fun!
This game was wonderful! The graphics are beautiful - very well done. There were no "dark" scenes, where things were hard to see. Hidden object scenes were a little junky, but everything was pretty easy to find, and I only needed the hint button twice in the entire game to find a hidden object. The hint button also helps outside of the hidden object scenes and will give direction if you get a bit lost and don't know where to find an active scene. There is a journal with wonderfully animated pictures...an interesting twist in a hidden object game. You will use a little shoe leather, as there is a bit of running back and forth, but it makes sense in the game and there is little senseless running in circles. This would have been a 5-star game for me if it had included a map with the ability to jet you off to active areas, but the hint button helps a lot. The voice-overs were very well done, and the music was appropriate and a little creepy, which was perfect for certain areas of the game. I never felt the need to use the integrated strategy guide, as the hint button gave me all the direction I needed and the mini-games/puzzles were all skippable and many had the "reset" option as well. For my skill level, the games and puzzles were perfect - a little challenging but didn't make me run to the strategy guide for help. The game had good length-of-play. It took me a few evenings to finish, including the bonus chapter. The bonus chapter isn't really necessary if you don't want to play it, as the ending of the game is satisfactory, but it does provide another hour or so of gameplay and a bit of an epilogue for the main characters - and maybe even the chance of a sequel. Great graphics, good voice-overs, terrific animations, good story, good flow - an all-around entertaining and engaging game...and a little bit of creepy. Who could ask for more in one game?

Very Good Game
I played on expert level and I found myself needing to refer to the strategy guide several times. One of the few games where "no sparkles" means no sparkles. Hidden object scenes with interactive elements is a big plus for me.
