The Heart of the Kingdom has been destroyed and now it’s up to Munchausen to save the day in The Surprising Adventures of Munchausen! With the light and prosperity of his kingdom gone, the king has no choice but to marry his daughter to an unknown stranger in exchange for a huge sum of money. Sensing the stranger’s evil, she writes to Munchausen who must now stop the wedding in The Surprising Adventures of Munchausen!

Excellent fun
I loved this game for the graphics, quirky main character and the different things to do from the usual games. This game was fun and made you think in order to work things out. The very different mini games kept attention and the only thing wrong - it is way too short. I bought the game and played it through 4 times and enjoyed that but the games were the same - perhaps should have had random and different objects in some areas. A nice, fun game with challenges.

The only fault: too short!
A common point found in all other reviews is that the game is shamefully short.
Once said that I might to add that it?s also an excellent and entertaining game and its shortness is the only real fault I can put on it.
The conception is quite original; the whole atmosphere is joyful and humorously ironical.
The plot is about a princess forced to marry a fishy guy for material reasons, since the kingdom has lost prosperity.
She ask her hero for help and the ironical character inspired by ?The Surprising Adventures of Baron Munchausen?by Rudolf Erich Raspe comes to rescue showing his original and whimsical skills.
A welcome change from the always repetitive ghost manors, broken cars which leave the driver in creepy and gloomy mysterious towns, psychiatric asylum sagas and serial killers with traumatic childhood.
The graphic part is cartoon-like, but accurate and the puzzles are apparently childish but not as easy as one might think.
The voices over mostly the one of the main character are not bad, but maybe not totally suitable, but they are not disturbing, at least for me.
I?d give five stars to the game if it was not so ridiculously short, but I?d love to see other games by the same developers with the same originality.

Cute Game
This is a cute game, but way too short. Not worth the money. Finished the demo in 25 minutes. Game would be less than an hour. Might buy at 2.99, but definitely not full price.

BRILLIANT INTERESTING AND QUIRKY GAME
First of all, when there were hidden objects to find, the objects were in pieces, which I LOVE. It's so much more difficult to find brilliantly hidden bits of things instead of...yawn...teddy bears and compasses. There are several action sequences in Munchausen which are very appealing and not exactly easy, either!! Something different - well done to game developers. Let's have another Munchausen...but LONGER this time.

Good Game...WAY TOO SHORT
Initially, which was just yesterday, I loved the game. Loved the game play, the mix of genres, etc. However, the end of the game came up so suddenly, I have to say that I was VERY disappointed. For version number 2, which I hope one is made, the developer needs to make more levels.

So fun yet challenging at times. Mini games you have to use your brainto solve and a story to keep you wondering whats next

Way too short!
Great game, cute graphics. The voiceover makes me giggle. Mini games are fairly straightforward, the HOG parts are good, Only bad point was how long it took, finished within an hour. On the lookout for the sequel very soon.

Short but quaint game
Something a little different....
A fun and humorous game where you are to save the princess from marriage by rejoining the pieces of damaged 'heart' of the land. To get each heart piece you first need to complete certain tasks in each scene/s. There is no hidden object games, although there is hidden objects throughout each scene that you need to locate. The games are instead finding like items ie. horse/saddle. There are also a few puzzles. Both puzzles and games are quite simple and easy to do.
The only real downfall of the game is that it is incredibly short. It took less than 1 1/2 hrs in hard mode, taking it casually.
I would, however, still recommend this game purely for its novelty and light-heartedness.

Very well made game
Love this game even though it's so different to what I usually play, it's not as easy as it first appears but I am playing on the harder choice of game play. In parts it really makes me laugh and I have already bought it,
Sorry my reviews aren't anywhere near as good as lots of fishes write on here but I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying this game
