yawn not too bad all in all, but sooo typical, it was a bit boring....and, im sorry, but i hate the " live actors" thing. not sure why :) i only played the demo, but i wont buy it.... February 3, 2012
It was OK! Kidnapping is not the most original storyline but I love Elephant Games so I bought this one. As many other EG games, they use live actors and voice acting but too bad this one's videos look blurry and pixely (?). Mouth movement and text don't match as all of their other games. Some part of the scenes when you zoom it in, is blurry on the edges as well. The bad guy, looks like Elvis to me with white shirt and sunglasses, definitely not the bad-guy type. What I hate as well is the HOG scenes you have to combine your inventory items which means if you don't have it, you can't finish it. The hint button is not very helpful. It is confusing to be exact. "Use XX on the library on the first floor on the dungeon", it uses lots of position that it confuses me as a non-native English speaker. While I enjoy EG immensely, this one is somewhat missing a certain charm to it. December 28, 2012
Disapointed with Surface The game started out great from the beginning then it started to lose me a quarter of the way through. I had to look at the strategy guide most of the way in to the game and that took all of the fun out of it. The storyline was so far out there and that was the major disapointment to me. I would pass on this game if I knew now what I know from playing this game. I would not recommend this game . June 27, 2012
Not Worth CE Price Another disjointed game with little logic behind the actions required. The story may have been more interesting if it was fleshed out a bit. Just not worth a collector's edition price even with the built in guide. I've gotten much better games on this very site for regular game price. Please BF quality please. February 2, 2012
Don't waste your time This game was pretty lame. There were many scenes which required you to use completely illogical items to complete. The story line was scattered and actually quite boring. The graphics weren't very good, and the game just was lacking in general. I didn't even finish the 60 minute trial, which is unheard of for me. I'm not sure why the other scores for this game are so highly rated. February 24, 2012
Ugh! I had high hopes for this since it got so good reviews, but after playing the demo it's a no-buy. The good things: - three different difficulty levels to choose from and other "finesses" - lots of achievements, keeps the playing a bit more challenging The bad things: - the graphics are really poor! The first scene with the actors and all... Eugh! - the story wasn't that grabbing, and who would seriously let their own kid play with someone's kid who looks like he/she belongs to a cult?! - we all love running back and forth, don't we... NOT! Can't recommend this one. March 6, 2012
nothing new I agree that this is the run of the mill hidden objects adventure game. Had to turn off the annoying voices, the environment noise, and the music. I hate when they put"actors" in these games, it just detracts from the game and adds nothing. I guess those who can't act, do computer game scenes. Good things: 3 levels of play, ability to turn off annoying sounds. Bad things: plot, actors, hidden object scenes too easy, games not much challenge. February 5, 2012
not for me the graphics were really good and the HOGS were easy to do, getting there was not easy or fun. I felt like I was supposed to be a mind reader. Played for the hour and was so relieved to be done. February 3, 2012
Not My Kind of Game Tried to give this standard, run-of-the-mill hidden object game a chance, but it failed miserably. It's the same old routine with this game (i.e. "b-o-r-i-n-g). February 2, 2012
Same old game Same old game just a different title!!! February 3, 2012
