Finally! A Game That Takes Some Time! I loved this game! So much so that I felt compelled to write a review! I'm a big fan of time management and strategy games. I would say that this isn't really time management as much as it is strategy. What I liked the most was that it actually took a couple of days to complete. There's nothing more deflating than when a game ends too soon! This was the total opposite. I continuously felt challenged and motivated, all while having fun. I had to cruise the Big Fish forums a few times just to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong when I thought tasks were taking longer than I expected or I felt discouraged (mostly by fires! ha!). Overall, they hit it out of the park with this game! I wish there were more like it! March 25, 2012
Having a lot of fun with this one! I really like this game. It has a great storyline that keeps evolving as the game goes on. I don't consider this to be a time management game at all. As others on here have said, this is a resource management game. You're building up a city and need to make certain buildings to obtain different resources that can be used to expand your civilization. Unlike most games of it's kind, there is just one continuous level. Whatever you build from the beginning stays with you throughout. As the game goes on, you get the opportunity to earn relics that will help clear the rest of the game board so that you can expand. Along the way you are given different tasks to complete that will earn you different types of resources. There are also hurdles thrown at you that you must overcome. I don't consider this a time management game because you are not timed at all. You can take as long as you want to finish your tasks, however you need to do the tasks in order to expand your empire. I can definitely see myself replaying this. I wasn't familiar with the game when I started, so my city was build a bit haphazardly. I think I'll go back and see if I can make things neater and more efficient. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because there really is no challenge. It is an impossible game to lose unless you're completely inept and ignore the problems in your city. For some people this lack of challenge might be a turn-off. I plan to play the game when I want something fun to pass the time without being stressed. March 23, 2012
Fun and Simple! Not as challenging as I usually like, but really fun. Very simple to pick up the mechanics of the game, and a very cute story. Definitely recommend! March 22, 2012
Cute little game! If you like building cities and advancing a story than this is totally the game for you! I loved the story line, and the quests help you move right through the game. Nice job guys! March 21, 2012
Cute Game Fun game, good story, but too short. The constant attacks were also annoying. Lots of nest ways to play though. March 19, 2012
Relaxing and Fun If you like time management games or even games like the Sims, then you would like this game. It builds upon itself instead of having level after level to beat. You can play at your own pace also, which I found relaxing. The only thing I would say is kind of bad is that two gods constantly attack you until about the middle of the game, and it gets old. But I definitely recommend it! March 18, 2012
Great game One of the best games of this type I have played for awhile I played the demo version and I am definatly going to upgrade to the full version. Graphics are a bit basic but still good and the music is really relaxing March 17, 2012
A different kind of time management game This game was more involved than than the usual time management game as in having to deal with the people, the surroundings, and the tasks. However, I would have liked either a bigger place to work with or different surroundings available as the game progressed. Also, the awards could have been more demanding of its players, not just "destroy/create so many number of buildings". Overall, great game play, though. March 15, 2012
