Confusing and more Got this when it 1st came out (no trial version since it was a large file game, big mistake) and barely played it since. The visuals and storyline seem great but the character movement is terrible. Unlike other HOGs this is a 3rd person view where you must move the character thru the screen executing actions, not a point and click game. If this appeals to you then get it and have fun, didn't work for me fun wise. February 28, 2012
Terrible game Slow moving, annoying dialogue, mediocre graphics. February 29, 2012
Awful - don't waste your money This is the worst HO game I've ever played - or should I say, attempted to play. Wooden characters which are difficult to move about the screen just completely frustrated me time and again, and I wish I'd never bothered. Have much more fun with something like Munchausen! Awful game I have nothing positive to say about this game. It did not capture my attention at all playing the demo. It is a terrible game. Graphics, sound, quality, fun, etc are totally missing from this one. Thank goodness for Big Fish allowing demos!! May 4, 2012
boring and slow i gave up after about two hours. i can't believe that you have to wait for the avatar to walk across the screen and then for the scene to change. what a waste of time. sitting there waiting for all of that nonsense was infuriating (not to mention incredibly boring)! don't bother with this game. ugh. Worst game I've played? I love a challenge, I really do. And I like the "freestyle" of this game, where the game doesn't hold your hand and you have to make sense of clues. In that regard, this is a unique game. However, the game is buggy and sometimes a bit too vague and if you get stuck that's pretty much the end of it. If you look for walkthroughs online good luck because there are apparently many versions of this game and they all seem to be a bit different. Just Google "Oscar's feet" and see what pops up. The directions are different and in all of the versions people seem to be getting stuck to the point that nothing works. And that's what happened to me. I did everything I was supposed to and some controls worked while others did not. I got a message that something was missing but yet I could control some of the levers (with no rhyme or reason). I assure you that I followed everything and I'm beginning to think this is a bug, which wouldn't surprise me considering the "meh" quality of the graphics and such. It looks like the makers of this game just basically regurgitated a very old game and sold it here. I wish I could get my money back because I am left with a game that won't let me continue with no way of resolving the problem. I've never had this problem with a game here before. I really think the positive reviews for this game are for another version because this one stinks. August 8, 2012
Seriously??!! I bought the game after the trial because of all the reviews that stated how long and challenging this game was, so I thought it would be fun. First of all there are NO puzzles, you just find stuff and put it where it goes. It's just like Nancy Drew except less challenging. As far as the length of the game, it is EXTREMELY SHORT. It is about 1/3 of what a normal game like this should be and now I know why... there are three parts, so wow, you have to pay three times to play one bleeping game. The only reason that it might seem "long" to other people is if they can't figure out how to advance in the game and they run back and forth for hours, however it is really easy to advance. I'm so angry that I actually bought this worthless game!! March 29, 2012
