Best Game I've Played All Year
Brink was the best game I've played all year! And that's saying a lot because I've played a ton of games.
I just completed two Nancy Drew games, going back to Stay Tuned for Danger (one of the first of the ND series, but I somehow missed it earlier), and the latest Nancy Drew game released, Alibi in Ashes.
Those games PALED in comparison to Brink.
The pace was perfect, the mini-games, of which there were plenty, were quite innovative and got progressively more difficult as the game went on, as they should.
The mini-games were challenging without being impossible. Thankfully, the HOGs were few and far between, and they were placed so well and strategically, that I actually looked forward to finding them, and I usually am NOT a fan of HOGs.
The storyline really matters in this game, and it is CREEPY! The antagonist in this game is wonderfully insane and a lot of fun to battle.
One word of caution: If you play the game and get to the end and you are offered the option to "Skip" a conversation with the bad guy, DON'T DO IT! Play the scene out.
I made that mistake and realized that everything was wrapped up in that scene and I missed it completely after playing for hours to get there! I had to start the game all over - which I happily did.
Well done, to the developers. I am a very picky gamer and I haven't found a game I liked this much since Siberia. I wholeheartedly recommend this game.
Oh, I almost forgot: the bonus game is an important part of the experience instead of being an afterthought. I really enjoyed the bonus game.

My Tenacious Journey
I found this to be a very engaging game. The music and sound are very good. The voices are very clear and interesting. The scenes and HOBs are also very good..challenging to find in some cases. The story keeps me on my toes regarding the many locations and challenges. Even though the game is long and extensive, it doesn't become boring or repetitive. I'm not quite finished yet, but I'm going to take a break and I just had to share my satisfaction and fun with this game with everyone else. Thanks BFG, Good Choice!

Fun but not unique
This review is based on the trial version, which took me 55 minutes.
There is voice-over, which is very well done.
There is a choice of custom and system cursor.
There is an option for widescreen, and for film grain.
There are 2 gameplay modes.
The SG [strategy guide] only showed the first 3 of the 7 chapters [7 chapters plus bonus game].
The graphics were very well done.
The gameplay was somewhat tame and pretty much routine.
I liked the puzzles I encountered in the trial version, and they were all doable.
Both the HINT and SKIP buttons filled quickly.
The HINT button is on the left-hand side, and the journal and map on the right, rather than the other way round as is the case in most games.
The map shows where you are, and what actions need to be done, but you can't use the map to jump to different places.
There is a lot of talk, but you can click on the text to make it stop.
This game didn't throw me off my chair with excitement [I seem to be too spoilt], but it was interesting enough for me to want to buy the SE. However, since the game was on offer in the Christmas sale I bought the CE.

Well worth the CE
I played the demo this morning and love this game! I am not a fan of collecting things and finding where they go and travelling from room to room but this was easy enough for me to follow! Kept my attention! I highly recommend this game for all of us that are cs!

IM EXPECTING A SEQUEL!!
This game not only is enjoyable to play as you actually feel your living the whole experience that's taking place, but above all your also learning, from a psychological perspective. It's definitely a ride you won't regret riding! I'm very picky and most games bore me the first 10 minutes but this one receives a big fish "Oscar" for best game of 2011!! Have fun and enjoy to all of you purchasing the game..You won't regret never! P.s it is Super ADDICTING so expect withdrawals when away from the game! LOL.

I didn't skip a single puzzle!
Wow! I don't have much to add to so many already positive reviews other than to agree that the puzzles were creative, fun, and fresh. I confess I tend to use the "Skip" button in HOGs, but this is one game where even I played each puzzle through.
The game is a lot of fun and the atmosphere is beautifully created. This is a game you're going to love.

Marvelous!
I thought the story was top notch and the graphics were excellent. I also loved the voice acting and the adventure. holds your interest until the very end. I played the bonus chapter too and I don't normally bother with those as I'm usually kind of tired of the game by that time. Not so with this one. I was sad to see it end.

Mmm, mmm, Great Game
I'm a little late in rating the game but felt the need to do it. This is a great game with a great story to it. Music was suburb and the mini games too. I skipped 2 of them and there was a lot. Nice part was, that there was not that many HOS, which added onto the enjoyment of this game.

Liked it very much
I liked this game. It was very nice to look at since the graphics were very clear and beautifully done. I loved the gameplay except for two things...one is because although it includes a map it does not allow u to skip to areas from it so there is alot of backtracking to get back to where you need to be. So because of that I'm thankful they did include a map to help me find my way. Second thing is there isn't very many HOS scenes really. A few of course but in large part considering the length of the game I would have expected quite a bit more. But overall I would still recommend it because it was fun to play and that's what counts for me.

This game is EXCELLENT in every way!
Let me say that I am up about 5 hours past my bedtime because I could not stop playing this game! I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how incredible this game is! Wow and WOW! It is a bit datk, but the twisted nature appeals to me. I love the story, I love the art and the puzzles! Bravo! I can't wait for more!
The Only "down side" that I can see is that you have to travel in an "elevator" up and down a lot, but that is a small price to pay for such a cool game! Woo-Hoo! I can't wait to see more from this publisher!
