Excellent RPG! I loved this game since the start. I think its a lot different than other RPG games here. Its not like the series of Aveyond. In this game you have Puzzles, Side Quests and of course the Main Quest. The characters are really cute and there were times that some of the characters that I have found made me laugh. You get to decorate your own house which is a plus for me. And if you bought the game Whisper of a Rose you'll see the main characters of the game too. March 25, 2012
Lovely game Sweet Lily Dreams is very pretty and very sweet, but it also has an interesting storyline, a lot to do, and can be very challenging. There are fun extras, for instance, like the crafting of spells and items. A nice touch. You also can own and decorate a house and how you do so actually has an impact on game play. Its certainly become one of my favorites very quickly. My only quibble with the game is the difficulty level. On Normal it can be pretty hard to actually land an attack, and the bad guys have a lot of hit points, and on Easy its a little..well..easy! Its not that big a problem though since you can switch difficulty levels at at any time. On another note I am going to stop playing it for a bit while I play Whispers of a Rose. I've discovered that a great many things make more sense that way. Sweet Lily Dreams is a sequel. The characters from Whisper appear in Lily Dreams, and a lot of the game mechanics and game world are explained better in Whispers. I don't suppose its necessary to play one before the other but I would advise it, and Whispers of a Rose is another very good game, also available here. Regardless I would give the game a big thumbs up. Its not often you see sweet, beautiful and girly work so well. The custom menus the lovely graphics and the adorable characters make the game a joy. And the game play itself is something anyone can enjoy. August 12, 2012
Curious I think the game story provoked my curiousity? It wasnt something that kept me playing for hours and hours going around in circles as you can progress without completing side quests (although they were fun, so I did do them?) and the storyline progressed at a sensible speed...? The soundtrack is interesting in places and the strategy element was fun. August 25, 2012
sweet lily dreams I LIKE BECAUSE IT'S SO VERY AWESOME,BEATIFUL,AND I LIKE IT VERY MUCH FROM MAY HAERT March 22, 2012
Was waiting for a new RPG - This was worth the wait Regular RPG'ers will recognize the gaming engine. The base look and feel is common to other RPG games. However, this game has some unique twists that made it stand out. Rather than try to battle and earn armor, head gear, weapons and accessories, you have to earn points to purchase furniture which gives you bonuses. You don't level up and learn new spells, you have to find and assemble scrolls to teach them to your character. You also have to keep an eye on the baddies you are fighting because some of them LIKE your weapon and will heal instead of die. There are mini puzzles weaved into the story, which is also interesting. Right now I am trying to figure out the ultra cube or something like that to get my characters out of an area. I am really enjoying the different challenges in this game. The mouse function is a bit rough and could use some fine-tuning, but overall it is still an excellent RPG. I bought it and am looking forward to playing it some more over the weekend. March 23, 2012
whimsical retro Playing the demo at this point, undecided whether to purchase. Looks and plays a little bit like the original Legend of Zelda. Some players might not enjoy that, but I've always liked the format. Cartoon graphics are a little rough in places accordingly, as suits the style. The characters are very cute, and the music is sweet. Combat so far is fairly easy to learn, and the controls and menus are simple. Great kill-the-monster-find-the-treasure fun! March 22, 2012
Different RPG You have to be a fan of role playing games to enjoy this game, which I did in the 30 minutes I played of the trial. Instructions are good, navigating is good and very user friendly. It's a buy for me. March 24, 2012
Sweet Lily Dreams : Chapter 1 Visually it's cartoon-ish but interesting. The sounds are ok with the exception of the music is repetative and almost inmediately i turn the volume down.Challenges : very easy.Storyline: It's just ok nothing more.Controlling the characters are a little clunky and to add more it freezes a lot which is very fustrating.I played the demo and ...This one is not for me maybe for a beginner that might find this one interesting but not for a hardcore gamer. worst game I've ever tried! Seemed to me like this was created by a teenager. Did not like how this game plays. Did not like the graphics. Did not like the credits being interjected into the game while playing it. Like I said, worst game I've ever tried. Also the game got stuck 7 minutes into it & had to shut my computer down.
