Better than the first....
I absolutely loved this game....it was truly better than the first installment, Mystic Hospital (and that was good), so I was shocked when I read a review that said it was not. So, I went back and played Mystic Hospital. No, I was right. This game is LONG. Great graphics, sound, storyline and voice overs. Two thumbs up!

One of the best.
Great HOG from these Devs, right from the start I was caught in the storyline. I loved getting "powers" HOs were good that you got some where you put items back as well as finding them. Good Graphics. Lots of fun for me, I waited for the SE and glad I did as it's not a long game. Excellent, Thanks BF & Devs.

much improved
For me.. this was much better than the first one. All the things I didn't care for in the first one were rectified. The dull, dreary and dirty atmosphere had changed to being full of color and really beautifully drawn. And there was interaction with the entities. They give you their abilities which turn out to be quite fun to use. There were some fun mini games.. a couple of slide puzzles, some connect the electric buttons, a place the vases one etc .pretty standard stuff but I lke those so I am not complaining. Overall I liked this game although I must say that after the first one.. I did not have overly high expectations. This is a decent game and a fun way to spend an afternoon or two. Not an epic adventure but a good solid enjoyable game none the less. I thought that both the music and the voice overs were excellent. The ending was a bit disappointing.. the old my evil twin /the butler did it. Perhaps a tad overdone. But really that was only in the last few minutes. I played the SE version of both and would not hesitate to purchase the next one in this series. 3.5 outa five

Could not stop playing
This game is well worth the $$$, or stream it on unlimited. It reminds me of the X-Men. Which makes it interesting as far as game play for the characters. The graphics are sharp, and the music goes well w/ the game.
game on....

Been There, Done That...For The Most Part
I enjoyed the first Agency game, and the second takes a step back into marginal territory in my view. The plot is still something right out of an X-Men comic, as you're a detective attempting to find out what happened to several orphans with magical abilities who have disappeared at a run-down orphanage. There is of course a mad doctor involved, but I didn't have to tell you that, did I?
For the most part, this plays like a standard HO game you've already gone through before. The setting, characters and plot are largely uninspired, as if the developers thought "Well we have to make a sequel, so.." That's not necessarily a bad thing, as hidden object searches are frequent and look pretty good. It's just not adding much to the genre.
A couple touches I did enjoy that I'll make mention of: Upon going through the rescue of each child, you'll get a special power from them that you can use to advance in the game. I don't think enough was done with this, but I did like the concept and it made getting to previously inaccessible areas of the orphanage more interesting.
I also liked the added feature in the HO searches. Things you collect in one scene are then added into another scene to make it more interactive. It wasn't consistent throughout, however, which was unfortunate. I really liked the continuation and thought it added a different dimension to the game.
The puzzles are decent, but nothing stood out to me. There is a sequence at the end where you'll do 5 in a row and it takes a while to plod through them..sliders, jigsaws and rings oh my! You'll backtrack a bit, though not excessively, and music and voice is unobtrusive but nothing special. The ending is pretty weak compared to the story of the game.
Overall, this was enjoyable enough but I expected better. I think it diverged from the first game but didn't really follow through. Too many inconsistencies and unfinished promises for me. Pass.

LOVED it!
I really enjoyed this game and hated to see it come to an end. I never became frustrated because there was help to be had, if needed. Wonderful graphics, good HO scenes, and fun puzzles. Big thumbs up!!!!!

Enjoyed this game
I thought this game was challenging enough, played on the harder level, but didn't have to go to the blog walk through. Hint button was not much help, only on a couple of occasions. Overall I did enjoy the game.
