Good, but not as good as the others I loved Roads of Rome I and II, so I was looking forward to this next game in the series. But about a third of the way through, I really got tired of all the fires. The red blobs of flame are distracting and make it hard to see where everything is to figure out your strategy. Still challenging, but not as much fun. I know they add a new dimension to the series, but it's a dimension that wears out its welcome quickly. I liked it, but not as much as the previous ones. Take care collecting stuff!! The third of the series, this building strategy, men running around collecting and building things for you seems harder to me that the first two. The trick seems to be to watch out for collecting too much raw materials - if you do - you run out of time! So for the challenge part of the game - very good and an interesting twist. Having bought and played the previous two Roads of Romes I did not enjoy this one quite as much but will probably dust it off and play again in a few months. November 18, 2011
Great Time Management Game Encompasses all the elements of a decent time management game: challenging, strategic, not as repetitive as some other games, a decent amount of levels, and my favorite, little Romans running around...! November 10, 2011
I love this game! This game is fun and challenging. I am a big fan of the whole series. I have played through multiple times and for me it never gets old. Changing your strategy not only for each area but each level within the area is a must. I hope the developers keep this line going forever1 November 20, 2011
Watch the little Roman men work and play! Another great and addictive game from Big Fish. It looks deceptively simple, but since there is a clock, you have to use time and strategy very well to complete tasks for each level. Graphics are great, each level of the game gets a bit harder and even though I just bought the game, I can see myself spending hours playing it. November 28, 2011
challenging This is one of my favourite games. What I like best is that it is NOT simple. As you work up levels the game becomes harder and harder. I repeat levels until I get gold status. Sometimes it takes me days to finish one level. Can't wait for #4! November 15, 2011
Favorite In This Series I loved thiss third installment because it is the hardest, and I love a challenge! It was fun, fun fun and so challenging I've enjoyed playing it a few times. They have added a few things--a Water Pump, a Cobbler, Smithy and Workshop. I think they are excellent and really add to the game play. No complaints here! Can't wait for RoR IV! November 17, 2011
Loved this game.... I found this game quite challenging (in the normal mode) and found myself having to play several levels numerous times to obtain the expert score. The only thing I felt could have made this better is the ability to click on objects ahead of time. You always had to wait for your "workers" to get back to base before you could send them back out. Most times they had to backtrack to get an item they walked right by. But that is the only thing I'd change. I love the strategy and time management aspect of it and can't wait for ROR IV. This kept me entertained for weeks!!! April 10, 2012
Time Management Fun! Very fun time management game. Levels aren't so tough that it's impossible to get expert timing. November 17, 2011
Good, but not as good as RR1 and RR2 I am a fan of Ancient Rome history, and this was the reason to try RR1. Afterwards, I purchased RR2 and, recently, RR3. Playing mechanism is similar to that of previous games in the series, so you are immediately comfortable with it. Barbarian invasion adds a new flavour, and the game seems more challenging than the previous two. But this third game has obviously lost its novelty, and you know more or less what you could expect in the next levels. Maybe the publisher would have to stop after the second game. If you are new to RR, the try the first in the series. Otherwise, think twice before purchasing RR3. December 8, 2011
