Depths of Betrayal SE Although I found this edition to be a better value over the Collectors Edition due to the lack of Extras, I'm still not a big fan of this game which progressed too slow to keep up or even stay interested in the storyline. Your friend Morgan has asked for your help in capturing his latest scientific experiment, a mechanical human Artificial Intelligence. This monster has escaped and has already caused the train to crash into the station and is seen hoisting a limp body over his shoulder. There are several scenes that have an eyeball icon that pop up and display 4 bubbles with pictures of items that you need to find and drag onto the correct bubble. There is always the fourth item that cannot be found within that scene, requiring you to travel back and forth, completing mundane tasks such as finding a pipe to replace a pipe that is missing or finding a bow tie to place on a white shirt. There are simple puzzles to complete like repairing a torn photo by clicking and dragging pieces to complete the picture. The Collectors Edition in my opinion has little to offer, Concept Art, Wallpapers (available in several resolutions) a Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter. November 11, 2014
Return of Frankinstein Its the Frankinstein story except the monster is a metal robot. I personally like regular HOG not the one you have to find it and stick it in a circle. This game also has to much running in and out of scenes looking for the objects. I only played for about 20 minutes and was devastated. Not a good game for me. Good luck with this one fishies.... depths of betrayal to much going back and forward. A bit boring. May 16, 2012
will wait for a better game Not a game i would spend money on. March 16, 2012
Where's the rest of the game? I liked it. Graphics were good. I like the HOGS where you have to find items to get an item to use elsewhere. I finished the demo in 40 minutes, no hints. Then I went and looked up the walkthrough. I was 40% through the game. This may be the shortest game I have tried in a really long while. While length of play is not my only criteria, it is important and this one fails that test. It's a no buy even at SE prices. March 16, 2012
Difficult game This game is well produced and designed IF you like FROGs and being frustrated. Its almost a constant set of FROGs with objects needed spread out over many scenes, not just the one where the "wheel" appears. Many of the objects require other actions, like using an inventory item, and its easy to forget what you are looking for. I couldn't even stand to finish the demo. Try before you buy. WHYYYYY!! Good idea but poorly executed. The story and characters are so badly done you don't care why any of this is happening after the trial. The puzzles get on your nerves with the constant back and forth, the music is boring and the entire story has more holes than swiss cheese. Don't bother. March 23, 2012
