Just not for me Good graphics and voice over. I just could not get into it. The hint button did not help at all in giving u into that u did not already know. Lots of moving around. The HOS are easy. April 22, 2013
not your same 'ole HO game the story is of a house that has all kinds of different mechanical gadgets that do different things. there is a good bit of back and forth and i had the CE edition or i would have got lost. the hints tell you what you need to do when not in a HO scene but it is more a goal to do. it is a regular hint system in the HO scenes, though. the hint and skip are slower to charge than a lot of games i have been playing but not real, real slow. some of the mini games are kind of hard, but i am not good on logic puzzles and some of them are that. the ending surprised me. and of course since it was the CE edition i had extra content to play but i wouldn't spend the extra money for it. i got mine in a deal!!! I Love Steampunk! As the title states, I love games with steampunk or gadgetry themes, and this one delivers that and more. In addition to the inventive and artful designs within the house - including the robot version of the "great grandmother" - the game offers a charming musical score, interesting mini-games, and an excellent alternative to standard hidden object puzzles. In these, one must identify objects by a certain characteristic, rather than a specific name. The storyline is light and breezy and the ending is complete and doesn't leave one hanging. I really hope that GI games follows up with another in the steampunk style. September 26, 2012
CLEAN and one of the best I've played For those looking for an unusual, difficult, and CLEAN adventure, "Fantastic Creations" is for you! It is quirky, different, and (IMHO) difficult adventure. THERE IS NO BLOOD, GUTS, OCCULT OR OTHER OFFENSIVE CONTENT!! ((YAY!!!!)) The HO lists are different than I've seen and the mini games are a lot of fun. The story line is *truly* unique: any bouncing back and forth has a reason and purpose, and is (usually) clearly defined. If these *are* problems: It is a *long* game. By the end, the mini games are repetitive-- which is totally understandable. How many ideas can one group come up with when they are presenting so many? Also, it is recommended that sound be used.(I usually keep the sound off b/c I don't want to bother my fam while watching TV.) I would recommend this game **highly**. Thank you, developers, for giving us a great game! May 30, 2012
Great Game This one is different and fun, I like the variations of HO scenes, finding one particular type of object per scene. Good graphics, great voice-overs, good instructions. Puzzles are interesting and not too difficult. Just did the trial and did not want to stop. This game is a definite buy for me. March 24, 2012
Good concept, but..... I'm glad I waited for the SG, not buying the CE. Game could have been so good, but it was way too short. The HOGs were different, not the usual junk piles and games were ok, story started out wanting me to find out what is going on, but then got very predictable. I thought there was more to the house to explore, however ended way too fast for me. I like a lot of search and destroy :), looong games, this one could have been so much better. March 24, 2012
GREAT PUZZLE GAME! GREAT GAME IF YOU LOVE PUZZLES; IT IS FULL OF THEM!! Not too many HOs, which I am thankful of! I always enjoy puzzles; this game had two that gave me a fit; otherwise, they were very good, different. Interesting end as well. If you are a puzzle person, like I am, go for it!! June 25, 2012
Adventure I liked the story... and with little reading - GOOD! I hate HOS - hidden object scenes, but the few that were here were FINE because we just had to find "Kinds" of things... square things, rubber things etc. Fun. The puzzles are what I like best and these were very good. Thanks. May 27, 2012
Very Good I enjoyed this game, didn't find it too short for me. I don't like games that are too drawn out. I managed to finish it without a walk-through, and that is a plus for me. I especially liked the hidden object scenes, in which you had to find groups of similar objects, like all rubber objects, all jeweled ones, etc. I enjoyed that. April 8, 2012
Watch your back! Unusual puzzles, nice change of flow moving around, very good graphics. I like the need to remember where things are and not always be able to immediately retrieve/go there but have to solve other puzzles and challenges first. Good fun. March 29, 2012
