Fabulous but...! I had great difficulty deciding how to grade this game. As a solitaire game is more than good. It has an interesting story to break the tediousness that usually goes with solitaire games. The music is nice, the visuals great and you get to do some hidden object scenes. So it is not boring. After you finish it you unlock a "cast your fortune" type of game that is really nice and seems very well researched and a freeplay mode which is just more of similar solitaire scenarios. But.... this game had so much potential that was touched but not worked on that I also considered grading it really really low! Interesting story line, well researched divination meaning of cards, hidden objects, the whole idea looked great. Before buying I thought that game had the potential to be one of those games that we use to set standards of excellence. Yet, less than half an hour after the one-hour trial period, the game finished. It had the potential of being a great game but it didn't use this chance. It remains just a good solitaire. In a way, that's a pity. April 3, 2012
Short But Fun I'm in my late 50's, very happily married, the mother of 17 children and I have 14 grandchildren. I play computer games to relax after a hectic day of cleaning our home, cooking, baking, doing laundry, dishes, working in our yard, grocery shopping, running errands, etc. I enjoy playing Solitaire games and I also enjoy Hidden Object games so I really enjoy Solitaire Mystery: Hidden Power. I'm not into reading of cards which I personally think is absurd but the Solitaire games are relaxing for me and the Hidden Object games are a bit challenging but definitely not impossible to find even with poor vision such as I have. If you don't like playing Solitaire games, you probably won't enjoy this game either and the same goes for Hidden Object games. If you don't like searching for hidden objects you probably won't like this game either because this game is a nice blend of both I don't mind having to dust off cards or spray them to find out what the cards are. If you've gotten used to cleaning your home as I have, dusting or spraying cards is no big deal. Some of the reviews I read are not giving the creators of this game a fair break. It isn't the creators fault that some people don't like playing Solitaire games or they don't like Hidden Object games! If they read the game description BEFORE they started playing this game they would have had an idea of what this game was about BEFORE they began playing this game and would not have been disappointed. Here is my advice to anyone comtemplating playing this game and I'll repeat what I said above: if you do not like playing Solitare games, you probably won't enjoy playing this game. if you don't like playing Hidden Object games, you probably won't enjoy playing this game. But, having said that, I think everyone should play the free trial of this game, ignore all of the reviews (good & bad), then decide for yourself if you like this game or if you don't. I bought this game after I played the free trial. I really enjoy it. I enjoyed this game so much that I'm now playing this game for the 2nd time and I have to add that I'm enjoying it as much the 2nd time as I did the first time. April 5, 2012
