Loved this game
Enjoyed the fact that there were no junk pile Hos... had to use my brain to remember where things were that I needed and liked the consistency of the game play. Liked the storyline and found the game had a sense of humor.

Refreshing and different
I really enjoyed playing this game, visual effect are excellent and the story line is fun. I played free for 1 hour then just had to buy it. Well done I love it.

Great Game!
The devs really did a great job with this game. It never lost my interest and the length was well worth the money paid. The Collector's Edition extra content was worth it (I hardly ever say that too). :)

Glad I bought the CE, great for puzzlers
I prefer puzzles to HOSs, so this game was right up my alley. I also prefer the type of HOGs that require you to find a few objects hidden in the area to obtain the item you need. I don't know what those are called, but that's what this is.
I played Advanced and admit to frequently checking the Guide, which is the first reason I'm glad I got the CE version. I will say that the whole game took me about 3 hours to play, so it isn't a long game. I dream of the day that my $14 buys a weekends worth of entertainment like it used to when you had to buy games at the Game Stop. That said, I did enjoy it and will definitely play it again, so in today's market, I feel I got my money's worth.
I don't normally play the music, but this one was suitably omnious and created great tension. I thought the game its self was pretty short, but it was a departure from the HOGs we've been getting for the past year. I don't particularly care about storyline, but if you are into that sort of thing, I saw the bad guy coming. It's fairly obvious.
Quite a bit of running around and there is no map, but the Notebook does keep a running list of tasks that are somewhat helpful if you can remember where that task is located, hence my use of the Guide from time to time.
The other reason I'm glad I got the CE is that the extra game play was reasonably challenging and not over in 5 minutes. Usually, they are. I'm fairly judgmental about games, so an Excellent rating is going to be rare for me, but I do recommend for killing a few hours.

Gameplay Explanation for this Popup HOG
I won't repeat what others have said, but I'll try to explain this game. In order to progress in the story you must move your mouse over the screen until something becomes a hand, gear or eye. If a hand, then click that spot to either pick something up to use in the future, or game will show you a circle indicating that there are 4-5 more items to find. When you've found them all (can be on multiple screens), game gives you access the the item you wanted in the first place. If a gear, then something you have,or will have, in inventory will work. If an eye, you can zoom closer. I am an adventure lover, but this game irritated me more than enthralled me. As others have said, some will love it, others... not so much, which is why I tried to explain the gameplay completely. It was not my favorite.

Wonderful
I got hooked right away and didn't even notice how much time had passed until the game exited to inform me that my free 60 minutes was up. I just had to buy the game right away, so I could continue the adventure,

This was a great game. It had great artistic apeal with its graphics. It was a good challenge for the mind. I wood reccomend this game for anyone who enjoys the hunt.

EXCELLENT!!
I was lucky to have had the opportunity to beta test this game. I knew that it would be a definite purchase! I absolutely LOVE finding and placing the objects in a circle to obtain the needed item to complete a task! This game was absolutely FUN to play! Graphics were gorgeous, music was intense, and tasks were a pleasure to try to complete! I am eager for this developers' next release!
