Nothing like what I expected :( I am a big criminal minds fan and didnt try the trial version since I really like the tv show I thought it would be interesting. I am happy that I used a credit for this game and didnt spend my money on it. Poor graphics, no speaking from the characters, very poor quality. I played it through the first case, there are only 2 and 1/2 way thorough I really wanted to quit. I don't think that I will even attempt the second case. Out of all the games that are available, a really poor choice to offer, there are so many better ones out there. HOS were way easy and following the game was just plain stupid. Its another TV Show game gone bad, i had this experience when I played House MD, which was even worse. I would not recommend this game at all. May 2, 2012
what a stupid - I dislike this game, no fun at all, I miss that the character speak out, to much reading, no action - Sorry to take a very good series and make it to a awful game April 21, 2012
Really Fun, Different! How cool is getting to play along with the characters we know & love from the hit TV show Criminal Minds? It's awesome right. Well, kind of. First the good. The game got the characters personalities right on. It's like being there with them. There are also great little animations between scene & also video cut scenes. The stories are absolutely top notch!! While the adventure, exploration & HOG aspect will seem familiar, the game breaks from the norm by offering a police/detective aspect to the game which makes it more interesting & engaging. The puzzles are pretty good, the clues are all there & the included hint system recharges quickly. Plus you get to interview & interact with many people, so the game never gets that lonely isolated feeling, just the opposite in fact. Ok now for the not-so-good. While the puzzles are ok, unfortunately they repeat over & over. At first I liked that they got progressively more difficult. But after the 10th time doing the same couple of puzzles, it got tedious. While it was nice to have 2 separate cases, they were both quite short; a 3rd installation would have been Perfect! Now for the worst part of the entire game. The HOGs! My God, every single time you did almost ANYTHING, the game would throw an arbitrary HOG scene at you! They were fairly easy, the hints recharged quickly & you're not punished for wrong clicks, but there are Sooooo many of them, it seriously hinders game play. After the zillionth one, I just went numb & started clicking furiously throughout the scene, hardly ever looking at what I was supposed to find. Later in the game, all they served to do was slow your game & make it painful. I work for a living, so when I play a game I want to relax & have fun, not have to work & get aggravated. So while I really enjoyed the game, I would really prefer the next installment be longer and cut way down on the HOG scenes. April 22, 2012
Voices a must for this game!!!! I bought this game a while ago to fill out my card Love the show so I figured the game would be good. Didn't try the demo, my mistake. Let me give you the pro's of the game first. Hos's are clear and bright, have a few scrambled words in them which you can either figure out or find a question mark for them. The question marks also works on your hint button. They also aren't filled to the brim with junk. The story isn't that bad either. Now for the cons. Where do I begin, what a pain in the butt. This whole game is interaction with NO VOICES. You have to read everything even when you're doing puzzles. I love interaction games and I own alot of them that you have to read but it doesn't make the game. This game is all about the dialogue. Don't get me wrong I love reading books but I don't expect my game to be one. I can't believe they took a great show and made a awful game from it. The only reason I finished the game was because I already bought it and I still had to force myself. May 30, 2012
No Challenge/Too short There was no challenge to the hidden objects and puzzles. Even chosing expert mode. The stories were way too short. I do not recommend if you are looking for a more challenging game May 18, 2012
A tad pedestrian Unfortunately, I found this game a tad pedestrian. I think that the makers are relying on game players thinking that this game is as interesting as the television programme. It is not and falls a long way short of being as entertaining. May 8, 2012
Don't bother I played about 15 minutes of the demo and deleted it off my machine. This is terrible. It's so slow that it's painful and the hidden object scenes were junk piles. Gameplay is linear, requiring you to perform the steps necessary to move on to the next scene. The graphics were grainy, dark and fuzzy. The storyline is very good, based on the demo, but not worth playing because the game is painfully slow. May 2, 2012
Not bad at all Not a bad game. I mean it didn't grab me and make me want to get it right a way to see what happens. Graphics are nice, music nice, hint system a bit different. Game moves a little slow. I like the TV show and watch it occasionally, so this a bit fun. Would have been much better with voice overs. HOGs were a little different with the scrambled words. I play word games, so it wasn't difficult to figure out what I was looking for. Games very simple. It may not sound like it, but I sort of liked this one. I do like a good mystery, but prefer a little more action. Not sure yet if I'm going to purchase or not. Have to think about it a bit...I will wait and see what else comes along in the next day or so. Thanks for the reviews. April 21, 2012
Boring I don't watch the show so maybe that was the problem but I just found this game boring. played about 1/2 hour of the free game and couldn't go farther. reading what people say is boring, hidden object were odd, hard to find stuff, there was no logic to what I was doing. Sorry but I don't recommend this game especially if you don't watch the show. April 21, 2012
If you like the show, you will love this game. I did the hour review and then bought the game. Was not disappointed at all. A good playing game, just hard enough to give it zip but not so hard that I had to look in the walk thru. I enjoyed each of the characters. Only wished the characters talked instead having to read the dialog. But all in all, I really liked this game. I did enjoy the inserted mahjong segements. I would love to see a sequel. I also liked the fact that were two different games to play. April 22, 2012
