Not as fun as you would think
This game is normally the type of game I wait for, but amongst games of a similar nature it is quite dull and long-winded. I would imagine the designers would claim that it is challenging, but realistically it just is boring and arduous. Two descriptions no game player really wants. However, if you like this type of time management/ strategy game you may enjoy it. I personally found that it lost it's luster pretty quickly and still working through it (out of a lack of similar options) I never quite got past that initial allure. If you want the demo, you may find it a good time, if you buy it, I doubt that you will find much more. Try not buy.

A GOOD Building Game
There are many lovely tasks that kept me going on with this game for hours. It is not the "best" I have ever played, but really very nice. I liked the Eco-Idea in it, so you get a bonus if you do not cut the tree to make room for a building etc. The gameplay is not much different from other building games. And to have more than 60 Levels is very fine - although the levels do not change very much during the game. There are some facts about this game that could be better: the cursor is very lame sometimes, you control the game most of the time via toolbar, this is not really fun, and there is too much clicking for me to collect the money, which distracts the strategie character for me a bit. I was too busy collection the money to have enough attention to the strategie - but this is just my personal dislike - some others will love the "lottaclicking" - But in general: a very entertaining fun game - really worth the money

good builder game
i love games like this . this game is easy enough for kids at the same time fun and challenging for adults. i think its a great game.

Fun and challenging - a keeper!!!
I thought it was a good game,one I will play over and over.
I am a TMG "freak" but am still picky as to which ones I like to play and ones I don't. THIS one is one to play IMO. Graphics are good, storyline good. Some levels are easy peasy but others...well I have been pipped at getting gold more than a few times now..lol Love the challenge of getting the gold each time.
Admittedly the trial is not long enough to get a good read and feel for the game. I am glad I purchased it though as this game will continue to be hours of fun for years to come.

Was looking forward to a TMG (FINALLY)
My rating is OKAY.
The game was cute. I thought it would be more interesting- taking on that ecological aspect. Maybe I did not play long enough to see exactly where the story/game went with the theme.
I play with the music low and sound effects medium-medium high. There were two sliders for changing sounds- only one was labeled "music" I assume the other slider was for sound effects?
Again, maybe it was me.
I did not get far with the game- I left with about 10 minutes left of the demo (my game sputtered, sputtered, finally stopped) which was okay, since I was not overly thrilled whilst playing.
The game uses this ecology theme. The only thing I noticed about it was the need to build gardens. It was kind of confusing for me- I think I am becoming a pickier player.
One point of confusion- and maybe this was cleared up later, was why would the goods factory or the seeds store not bring down the overall ecology factor? I would think that building one of these in a real situation would bring down the value. Maybe I am over thinking it.
So recommendation? I would recommend this game to those who made it through the demo (if you read the boards, some had trouble with the actual game play as I did) and I would recommend it at regular bfg club price. Only because it has been a while since we got a time management game.

If I was totally bored, I might play this
This is almost like any other "build it" game, except that it's a campground. The music is annoying, the graphics are just too dark to differentiate some of the items, and then to get hit over the head with the tree-hugging aspect was more than I wanted to deal with. I lasted about 15 minutes into the demo.

Pretty Decent
this game was generally fun. i played the whole hour trial and enjoyed it mostly. there is a very obvious eco theme which honestly felt more like an eco agenda guilt trip laced with anti-capitalism sentiments, the story parts actually seemed a little eco-preachy lol. the gameplay was much like build-a-lot so if you like those you'll probably enjoy this. i was a little disappointed that the tents and trailers don't actually look any different after you upgrade them...what makes something a 3 star vs a no star if you can't see any changes? just a star outside? pretty much. otherwise the graphics were attractive and i enjoyed playing this game for the full hour. not bad for regular price but i'll probably wait for a rainy day to pick it up. fun but not a desperate must have game.

Going green
While this cute building game might not bedazzling in graphics or blow you away with its sound, it is fun and addictive, and you want to keep playing as you help Addie take on The Man in building eco-friendly camping areas for tourists. We start with tent towns, then work our way up to pop-up campers and RVS and cabins. We keep our campsites green by letting the local wildlife keep their homes while making our own plots more green by adding gardens and safe fire-pits.
Addie knows that campers come to such places to be one with nature, and if they want something more upscale, then they should have booked a resort on a beach somewhere. Not that we won't have our own little lake beaches to camp on. We build plots, upgrade them, and keep guest happy by giving them a clean place to stay that is nice to see, and we keep all our big old oak trees, along with any other green boosters that should be kept, since most trees are older than any of us. So be wise, like the owls that live in those big trees, and go green by never leaving your desk in Campgrounds.

I love this game and the fact that is's Eco friendly awesome. Please make more Campground game please! 5 thumbs up. It goes in different directions love it. I will stop there and not spoil anyone else fun!
