great game! I found this a welcome relief to other HOG games. This one has a great storyline and is more of an adventure game also. It's not just Hidden objects in every scene. You can easily follow the story and figure out what to do on your own. Didn't really need hints much but they do reload fast if you need them. Highly recommended. June 11, 2012
Final Cut - Non stop playing I really loved this game!! I had so much fun that I didn't want to stop playing. I think everything is great and the game makes you want to finish each level with no single help. Unfortunally there are only five stars... I could give ten stars! Have fun. June 11, 2012
' This casual player thoroughly enjoyed playing this game in regular mode. I encountered none of the frustrations and irritations I have found in other games. If I missed something or didn't know what to do next, I felt like kicking myself and not the designer. For me that makes a great game. June 7, 2012
Beautiful I don't normally review the games, but as this was the first one with the art deco aesthetic, I thought I would pipe up and say that it was beautiful. I also liked the games--they were just the right amount of difficult. I only skipped one because it was late and I was irritated. Otherwise, they were challenging without being frustrating. What a fantastic game! The graphics are nice, the story kept me on the edge of my chair all night long. June 3, 2012
the way it should be done Wow .. this game had all the bells and whistles. Not one but three different collectables...ten cards, ten pictures and turning on 10 lights. Awesome. I love those. Plus it had at a huge number of achievements to achieve. Gives the game lots of depth. It also gives you motivation to play every HO scene without using a hint. and helps you to slow down and really look around the room before moving forward. Add to this a very interesting storyline, real actors with some good VO's and a long game and you have a recipe for success. This young woman's rich and famous father had an affair that came back to haunt him. He then tried to solve the problem in quite an unusual way. Now the daughter has come for revenge. Very interesting, very enteraining, great looking, smooth playing game. I loved it. June 3, 2012
Exceeding all expectations! I play a lot of these games, and one of the things I always hated was how some things just don't make sense. You put the shards of glass on a window so that you can open it... that just doesn't make sense. In this game, there is none of that. Almost everything you do is something you would do in real life. I think that this required a lot of thought on the part of developers and I applaud them for that. This game just has more of everything than you usually get. I appreciate that a lot. It's almost as these guys played the best games, and just took the best out of each game and put everything in one game. For the first time I was actually asking my self, what will happen next? I wont spend a lot of time writing about graphics and sound, this game has got it all... Be sure to give it a try... you will not regret it. June 3, 2012
Loved IT! Lots of fun. Love when a game has a map. Interesting story line. Puzzles are challenging without being impossible to figure out - didn't need to skip a single one. June 3, 2012
FINAL(LY) CUT!!!! I've been playing games for as long as I can remember and I am one of those moms who are happy for her kids to also enjoy playing computer games! This is one of those games that I will keep eternally on my hard disk and hope to return to it time to time! Such amusing puzzles, great soundtrack, characters are so alive and amusing, and I especially loved the cat! Best thing for me is that you travel from art deco, to pirates and Egypt, and then WW II... Wow... Great game devs!!!!! Give us some more! June 3, 2012
Outstanding! This is one of the best, if not the best, BF game I have played. The developers didn't just throw something together; they put a lot of time and effort into details. I could bore the reader with this and that were good, but suffice it to say that all the "normal" things, HOS, puzzles, hints, map, etc., are excellent. Then there are all the "extras", which I won't spoil for you by listing them. The period architecture is well rendered, there are live actors and the story is good. The bonus materials in the CE are very good. Don't judge this game by the demo. The whole game is so much more. Super, super game! June 2, 2012
