Syberia-Part 1
I couldn't even get through the entire demo,this game bored me to death.It doesn't have any depth or meaning to it.The graphics were grainy and it looked like an old pc game version from the 90's the sounds are equal as the graphics .Challenges i didn't even bother didn't hold my interest to even play with it.Storyline wise not good at all.I wouldn't waste money on this game which is completely boring,it looks outdated and frankly not worth playing it.

Dull & Plodding
The concept of the game was pretty good, but it was SO SLOW!!! Several things that I found very annoying:
1. The sound effect of her footsteps - unnecessary;
2. The running/walking and then stopping before moving into another scene;
3. The phone calls that occur through the game.

Syberia part1
This is a very challenging game but it let's you make a lot of mistakes and do things out of order of the game yet still succeed in the end. I had to go to the forum site but I finally found Oscar's Feet. Then I went to the blog and found out I was supposed to do this at the beginning of the game. It was almost the last thing I did! What a challenge without being terrifying or witchcraft. I was very pleased in the end!

Sorry - not a fan
I bought into the previous Syberia series, and didn't enjoy playing them. There was just too much walking to and from places, and that, combined with the dialogue made the games tedious and slow. After playing 15 min. into the demo, I found the same problem here.
And if I hear the name 'Kate Walker' one more time, I'm turning off ALL the sound.

It's not 2002 any more
This game seems unchanged from the 2002 version that I first tried 3 or 4 years ago. It's almost unplayable by today's standards. The controls are clunky and don't follow any of the standards we're used to.
If you're looking for a visually impressive game and you don't care how hard it is to get anything done, this is the game for you. If you loved it 10 years ago, this is the game for you, maybe.
Many of the reviews here are from people who loved this game 10 years ago. I question whether they'd feel the same way if they came upon this game for the first time today.

Phenomenal
If you have never played this game and you enjoy adventures, this is the greatest adventure game you will ever play, this is the greatest adventure game available anywhere on any platform.
I have both the original Siberia I and II games, and of the 400 odd PC games I own, Siberia I and II have no equal, of the hundreds of PS1, PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360 games own, Siberia I and II still have no equal.
The story is beautiful, interesting and compelling. The game play which can occasionally be difficult is stunning and enthralling.
I will buy this game in it?s current BFG iteration, just to have the experience again.

THE game you can't miss...
This is an amazing, beautiful, long game. Took me days to play it as it's not too easy, but so attractive. Gorgeous graphics, excellent story.
A GREAT, GRAND GAME
And Syberia II is just as good, we need more games like this one, for me, a real "chef d'oeuvre" in the game field.

More Like This One Please
I have the original Syberia and loved, loved, loved it. So much so that I bought the sequel which was equally as good. The graphics are incredible and the storyline holds your interest and keeps you wanting to get to the next chapter to see what happens next. It is a long, thinking game that will keep you engaged. The main characters are enchanting, touching, humorous and have believable personalities. You will not go wrong with this game. I hope there will be more like this one.

This is not the ORIGINAL
Quick and easy: this has been chopped down so poorly it barely resembles the original game , It's a great game if you get the origianal DVD. Lost mine so I played the free demo with the intent to buy. SLOW and buggy. Didn't buy, will look for original Version instead of this chopped up and broken one

Too Easy
There's very little to this game. It only took three hours to complete and most of that was waiting for the character to move around. None of the puzzles are complicated. The story has some promise if a little asinine in places, but a little sillyness doesn't hurt. Putting parts 1 and 2 together in one package might make it worth the money but I'm not spending any on part 2 to find out.
