another save a family member...
The second my hour was up, I bought it. The game could be a bit frustrating at times so pay attention to everything you read.
The hints are a big help and they refill pretty fast.
I would rather read what the charactors are saying. I find the actors voices annoying, or wrong for the charactor. The music sounded okay, very ignorable.
The game can be a challenge, but as I said, read everything.
Storyline is the same old, same old. It's still a good game.

JUST FINISHED 5/29/2012
Well, let me start off by saying I would like to not consider myself a complete dummy but... I found that w/out the hint button (that was not always helpful in that it just repeated itself) I would not have been able to finish this game. When they do not have a map and expect you to go somewhere you have not visited before but in the same general area, you are left to click click click until you find the whereabouts.
I had to ask hint becasue as I had already completed a room, suddenly a new "object" appeared that was not previously there and I was told to go back to just completed room to retrieve in order to advance. I really wanted to like the game as graphics were awesome and storyline good but got to be frustrating nearer the end. As I have been a member since 2008 I own ALOT of these kind of games and just found this one to be a little on the weary/frustrating side nearer the end.

Too short. A waste of money.
It took only a few hours to finish this game. Wish I had not bought it.

Good and Creepy!
bought it as soon as i finished the demo.my kind of game. enjoy the help of the robot, gotta go now , back to the game , Thanks for another CREEPY GAME

Good Game
The story line was good as was the the game play. I enjoy HOG. I like that there wasn't voice over I usually turn that part off. May purchase game because I would like to see what happens. Will delete what I played and start from the begining again and play puzzles. I usually skip on demo because they take away too much of game time. Enjoyed.

More PUZZLE game then crime game.
This game was too long. Too many puzzles and too many puzzles inside of puzzles. The game became boring and I lost interest. I started skipping puzzles and looking at the walkthru just to get the game over. Fun factor, there wasn't any.

Big Bore!!
Sorry Big Fish but this game just wasn't right! Something was lacking big time. I was enjoying the first hour but after that things went down hill pretty fast. The graphics are poor, old school feel compared to ERS games. The hint wasn't much use at all and i gave up on the storyline because i was so keen to finish the game. Not to mention the abrupt ending!! What was that about? Yes she saves her sister but what was the whole reason of her being on the island?? Strange, think this developer has tried to jump on the bandwagon of the popular spooky theme and it's just a cold turkey! Sorry but i have to be honest in my opinion and i play a lot of games.

Very Challenging!
I enjoyed this game a bit more than the rest I've played - the puzzles were very challenging and I loved the unexpected twists and turns of the game. The storyline was a bit weak, but I generally don't pay a lot of attention to it anyway. If you love a challenge, this is the game for you. :)

Great Game - Just wish it was longer...
Loved the story line - but after 3 hours, the game was over. There were places in the house I wish had to do with the game - to add more mystery. There could have been so much more potential to this game. I really enjoyed the HO and puzzles, just wish it was longer!
