Fantastic Game This game is absolutely beautiful; it makes you feel as though you're in a wonderful dream or part of a Harry Potter movie! Everything about it is great--some of the puzzles were a challenge but after working with them for a while and not getting them, I just skipped them. The HOS are just hard enough to be interesting, the storyline is interesting; there are some downright ugly creatures to deal with. I have no criticism to offer at all; just wish there were a dozen more like it! June 1, 2012

Very nice graphics, fun game Loved the graphics in this game. The hidden object scenes were good, some were shadows, with a nice twist. Over all a great game, I love a good story line that actually progresses as you play and this one does. A good HOG/Adventure game is kind of like reading a good book. This one is like that. Good Length, Good Story, Good Time I found this game to be the perfect length - not too short for the money and not so long that I'm begging for it to end. The story is compelling and each scene seamlessly blends with the next. Hidden Object scenes are interactive, and the few "junkpile" scenes are will drawn and objects are clear. Some puzzles are a little tedious after a while, but all within solvability range and a good balance between medium and easy. Music adds and doesn't distract and there is a logical pattern to the expectations. A great game and fantastic followup to the first. May 21, 2012
Excellent Game This game was an absolute joy to play and I found myself wishing it could have lasted longer, even though the game was plenty long. The graphics were absolutely stunning and the game play was seamlessly put together. The HOS were clear and lovely, while still maintaining a challenge. Really, I can't say enough good things about this game. It is definitely worth the buy!! June 11, 2013
Solid casual game. :) First game purchase at Big Fish. I got the regular edition. Definately worth the $3 special. ;). The story was slightly generic but plausible and worked in well enough that the cutscenes didn't bend your ear for too long. I found the voice acting somewhat irritating for certain characters but I could deal. I chose to play on advanced mode to start because I've played these sorts of games before. The challenges were a good assortment and the few that were repeated weren't done so much they got too repetative. I did have to use a hint to find at least one object in the HO scenes most of the time. That was usually due to me not recognizing a particular word, or looking for something entirely different from what I thought the game was referring to. The difficulty varied which was nice, so some puzzles were easy while others I sorely wanted to skip. The journal was useful for looking back at things but the pages only go forward and backward with no looping (zipping from back to front) so flipping through the thing could get annoying. There's no map or teleport feature but I didn't find it hard to navigate and the walking wasn't excessive. The hints appear to guide to whatever in a room need interacting with. The hints either show the player where their attention needs to be in a room or tells them that there's nothing to do in that area, so you would need to check each individual are itself. Handily, you don't need to wait for a hint to recharge if it says there's nothing to be found. As I said, good game, I'll play it again in the future when it's not so fresh in my mind. Spirits of mystery: Song of the phoenix I have never written a review before even though I have played lots and lots of games. I have to say that this one is a real winner. I just couldn't walk away from it. Love it!! May 17, 2012
A Truly Magical Game! This game was so much fun. It is a wonderful love story full of magical creatures with many twists that I haven't seen before. The ho's are quite different and interactive. The graphics are very clear and pretty. A challenging game without being too frustrating. There is basically evil against good entwined with a love story. It is a great game and worth the money. Great Game Loved this game, has almost everything i'am looking for in a game.this is a hit for me. June 23, 2012
Too many puzzles, not enough HOS! I bought this game because so many people gave it 5 stars. However, if your favorite type of game is hidden object this is not the game for you. There are WAY too many mini-puzzles and very few HOS. The puzzles vary in difficulty from very easy to borderline ridiculous. And some of the most difficult did not have a reset button (although other puzzles did, which I found odd). I did not enjoy this game because I felt like I was solving a puzzle every 3-4 minutes and had to solve one every time I wanted to progress in the game. I don't mind a nice mix of the two but the HOS should be the dominant form of puzzle if that's the genre the game claims to be. Regarding other elements of the game - I agree that the graphics and animations were lovely. The scenery was very well done. The voice overs were of high quality and the story, although not very original was interesting and engaging enough. The hints button is not incredibly useful although it will tell you if a particular area has no tasks you can complete. There is no map of where you are going or have been - which I think is a very nice feature on many games - and there were a few times it was not clear to me how to progress. If you like mini-puzzles then I would recommend but i don't think this is a true 5-star game. July 4, 2012
