Great, fun game! This is a well-crafted game in both presentation and gameplay. It's almost like being in the midst of a Disney movie at times. I love the rooster and miner helpers. Gameplay is very good with almost reasonable useage of objects unlike in some games, and the objects aren't too spread out. There is a map that offers jumping to scenes. The HOS are good without a random clicking penalty, some IA and a fast charging HINT button. The story is good and interesting with some twists, until the end which is abrupt in my opinion. Supposedly one has a choice on how to end the game, but you have to replay the whole game to find out if this is so. The bonus chapter is so-so and not worth the CE price. This is a no-brainer buy in the SE edition, if and when it becomes available. The CE version first seems to be the trend, and the developers throw something together in an attempt to justify the added cost without success. Bad idea for the consumer. July 3, 2012
Royal Detective:The lord of the statues collectors edition Not worth the collectors price,Extra play chapter is too short adds nothing to story ending July 3, 2012
Not Bad I do not usually write reviews, but just wanted to say even though I enjoyed the game I thought it was a bit short for a Collector's Edition, just hope there is a sequel. Not up to standard with other Elephant Games I have played, and I so enjoy them July 3, 2012
ROYAL DETECTIVE wonderful game, my complimebt to develpers, beautiful scenes. enjoyed enjoyed July 2, 2012
wonderful PLAYED FOR SEVERAL HOURS AND ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE. July 2, 2012
Great game! I almost didn't add my review as it echoes others. The complexity of the game, graphics, and the idea behind the story are excellent. A very enjoyable game...I hope it is just the first in a series. Very well done! July 2, 2012
Good, unique story I really enjoyed the story line in this game. The only drawback is that the bonus episode is VERY short. However, that would not negate buying the collector's edition as the guide was almost necessary in a few places. July 2, 2012
Loved this game We finally have a unique story line with beautiful artwork and interesting characters. The "helper" gnome, Rubert is very cute and I liked having two other reoccurring "helpers". I never used the SG because the HOS were not hard and the mini games were of average difficulty They were very pretty so I did not get bored or frustrated with either one. I appreciate the map that allows you to easily move between different parts of the game. July 1, 2012
Grandam Loved the characters that were called to assist in the story line. July 1, 2012
Loved this game! This is the best game i have played in along while, great story line, brilliant characters, I was enthralled from start to end and was sad when it ended, bonus play was good to! A game worth paying for a CE for and its been a while since i had this opinion! More games like this please BF. July 1, 2012
