Beautiful game When you start play this game you see a lot of excellent animations. It does the game more attractive, because first of all I look at the picture and then I look at the story. But the quality of the pictures isn't so high as the quality of the animation. The hints were unusual, I didn't expect it would be some phrases! I couldn't get accustomed for some time, but then I understood it was interesting. Sometimes I didn't understand what I had to do, it addled me. The story is interesting but not thrilling. It didn't do this game less attractive. The locations are interesting, objects are unusual and interesting (especial the flying rooster). Idea with the statues is liked. June 20, 2012
It was OK Please be advised that I only played the demo and I really need a good story to get into a game. That said, this game had what we've come to expect: good graphics, decent music, sound effects, a combination of HOS and good mini-games, and a story. But getting to that story is a long road and at the end of the demo, I really didn't know enough to care about buying the CE. I know all developers walk a fine line between too little story and too much, but they need to give us enough story to engage our interest to want to buy the game. In this case, the meager bits given out did not make you want to travel to the end. I had to refer to the strategy guide for several actions that were more than strange - having your rooster fetch heavy things for instance. (Note to developers: I'll buy almost any crazy thing you send me - vampires, ghosts, time travel, lights and fireplaces blazing in long abandoned buildings. But not a rooster that flies to the top of a tower to retrieve tools - especially after I apparently reached up from the ground and helped myself to something else from the same place!) The SE might be worth the cost, but for a CE, there are more worthy candidates. June 15, 2012
Mm... I don't like it.. The 3 stars are for the nice graphics and puzzle.. but i dun find the storyline or the flow amusing or interesting.. I tried it in view of the 5 star reviews, but sorry, I find the game BORING.. I won't recommend the game, nor would i not recommend it.. as you need to play first and the decide... July 8, 2012
DISSAPOINTED Who was the villain, did the little girl find her mother, etc..this one left me hanging after I played it twice!!! July 8, 2012
Incredibly Short for a CE I felt compelled to review to let people know purchasing the Collector's Edition that it isn't as long as you expect. Everyone's different, but this only took me 4 hours, which was way less than it has taken me for similar games. As others have said the graphics are indeed very good - very nicely brightly lit HO scenes. This might be why the file is over twice as large as similar games (1GB!) and takes forever to download. too short It was a good game. The map comes in handy. The bonus chapter was too short. Not worth the premium paid for a collectors edition. June 15, 2012
Snail's Pace i was really looking forward to this. It promised so much but the action was sluggish and dragged along. The storyline was good and should have been exciting. I'm afraid I only reached the 'mildly interesting' level. Sorry devs, this is not for me. Such a shame. I'm sure you'll get much better press rating from others. I wish you every success. OK !!! The storyline was good, the Gnome was cute, too many cut scenes for me, and a slow sory line. I like few or no cut scenes and a faster story line. For those who don't mind meandering this is a good game. June 15, 2012
A Change for the Better - Somewhat This is a visually attractive game with a delightful change to guide you in the adorable leprechaun. I thought the big dumb statues were silly and tiresome, although they are at least a change from the usual dead bodies and ghouls. The ending left me hoping for a sequel, but the Bonus chapter didn't make much sense. Disappointing. June 18, 2012
Ending kind of abrupt I enjoyed most of this game, the graphics were great, the HO's a little junky but not to bad, the puzzles were good, I didn't have to skip any in frustration. I liked the narrator very much nice voice good inflection, made the story flow well. The rooster and miner were a joy, I love having stuff that stays in my inventory instead of disapearing after one use, and though the rooster did things no rooster could have he was after all stone so I figured he was much stronger. I didn't like the ending, left hanging on several levels I won't discuss as it will spoil the game plot, but there was unfinished business. The bonus game was very short, only about 25 minutes which made it not worth buying the CE version, there is no ability to play the puzzles as in other elephant games. The bonus game also ended abruptly, with no real reason behind the added game. I don't like this trend of ending games on a clif and it is becoming more and more prevalent and that is the basis for my lower review, it ruins a game for me to be left high and dry. October 1, 2013
