Another evil sect with advanced technology makes a good game. I played this game for the full trial (it actually allowed me sixty minutes). I almost didn't bother, because of a couple of not-so-good reviews, but I found their complaints to be non- issues. The game IS full screen, there ARE voice-overs, the black screens between scenes last only TWO seconds, and the scenes are bright. I like HOGs, but I also have objections to some things, like snails all over the place! Yuck! In any case, these games are not expected to be realistic - where have you ever seen such collections of junk in real life? This is escapism. I will buy this game, but in the SE version. This is one of the better hidden object games; ignore the negative reviews and try it. March 15, 2012
Silent Nights: The Pianist Collector's Edition II just finished playing Silent Nights - The Pianist Collector's Edition by Dark Blue Games. It was very user friendly and I enjoyed it more than I have enjoyed a game for a long time. It flowed really well, the puzzles were not impossible to solve and I liked that Inventory was visible at the top of the screen for a change and not hidden at the bottom. Help and the Strategy Guide were also at the top of the screen. I didn't have to use the Guide very often but when I did, it was always where I'd last accessed it, rather than having to go all through chapter selection etc. There were lots of HOS and they were well done. It's too bad Big Fish doesn't give us the name of the developer when we're selecting a game, because some are so much better than others. I do recommend this game. The only negative thing is that it left a poor homeless guy bleeding to death in the basement.....the story never got back to him. April 25, 2012
Interesting game with great sound Played demo and it had great sound and glad there were plenty of hints if needed. Just wish there were some different story lines, but that is my only complaint. March 28, 2012
Silent Night The Pianist CE Finally, A HO game worth the money. I played it til the end. The story line was okay, and I liked the fact you didn't have to jump from scene to scene to find the stuff you needed to complete a task. March 26, 2012
Excellent Hidden Object Adventure Game Warning: Bug and Vermin crawling in some scenes and most h.o. scenes. The opening scenes are beautiful, as are the rest of the graphics in the game. The soundtrack contains ambitious and compelling piano music. H.O. scenes were clean and clear. Minipuzzles were fun. The Hint button can be used for gameplay and H.O. scenes. Perfect game except for those crawling bugs that gave nothing to the scenes nor to the storyline. March 15, 2012
WOW WOW WOW great game from the begging to end. brought the game after only plying for 15min March 15, 2012
Overall: Love it! After I played about 2 hours, I think, this is a really good game. HO scenes are a little bit hard for me, but I'm not an expert player. Renders are really nice and detailed. March 15, 2012
Genius Programing This is the best HOG I have played in a long, long time. I did not get bored at all. There were new things to do all through the game. It's about time something different came along. March 18, 2012
great game, thank you Generally I love game like this May 28, 2012
Vintage fun Loved the style and vintage items, 1946, all over the game. Great graphics, very spooky, great story line...I am hard to please, I toss games in the trash after 10 minutes if it does not start, this one got me from the start. May 27, 2012
