Creepy, Interesting Game For all of you who really enjoyed the Haunted Halls and Nightfalls games, you will enjoy this as well. In my opinion, it has the same feeling to it. The graphics and HOS were done well. Some of the mini games were brain-bending, but I like that. I played in expert mode. Enjoy, my fellow gamers! May 26, 2012
SPOOKY Loved it from start to end.The graphics were crisp and clear, the mini games were good..just loved the game all around its a buy for me for sure May 25, 2012
Another great game! I have Dark Dimensions: City of Fog, so when this came out, I knew I wanted to try it. 10 minutes or less into the demo and I knew I had to purchase it. It's even better than City of Fog. I LOVE the graphics, and the storyline is wonderful. I am playing it on the casual level, and finding it enough of a challenge. The HOS are challenging but not too difficult. There are often a number of objects that need to be put together or 'found' before you can click on them, but I enjoy this, it adds an extra 'dimension' (haha a little play on words there) to the HOS. The puzzles are fairly simple, but I like that in an adventure game, I don't like my puzzles to take away from the overall gameplay - I enjoy the puzzles, but I don't want to spend all my time in a game trying to figure them out. The music is unobtrusive, and can be turned down if you find it annoying. This game is a definite 'must purchase' for me! May 27, 2012
A Train Wreck! I don't like HOGS, but I HAVE PLAYED some pretty good ones, and this game is not one of them. It is a TRAIN WRECK of never-ending and very tiring HOGS, one after another after another after another, never seeming to end! The graphics were good and the voices were clear, but the acting, using only the voices, was EXTREMELY SLOW and very, very, amateurish! This was one of the worst HOGS I have ever played. There was hardly a plot, and the ending "just happened out of nowhere," adding to the inanity of this surpassingly stupid game. There was constant back-tracking throughout the game, making it tedious to the extreme. One would have to wonder what the developers of this "game" had in mind, if anything! I'll take the LARGE FILE games that feature PLOT, which was so obviously missing from this game. THIS "Dark Dimensions" game HAD NO DIMENSIONS! November 26, 2012
great if you're a beginner The game was fun, but it was not a challenge for an expert gamer. I completed it in 3 hours. If you are looking for a quick, good game, then this fits your bill. If you are looking for something a bit more challenging, this is not for you. Graphics were good. Hidden objects scenes were easy, even on advanced option Mini games were really easy. story line ok. I would recomment this game for a quick play, or a beginner July 13, 2012
Great! I normally don't write reviews, but I felt this game is a tad different than a lot of them. The reason? I like the that the charactors are real actors and not cartoonish. I miss good ol' adventure games that actually used live actors...i.e.Urban Runner, That's an old '95 game, but still. The only downside is the HO games. Many of the objects were just too obscure to see and the scenes of these where terribly cluttered, maiing it worse to find objects. Over all. I liked it! June 8, 2012
A decent game! I did enjoy this game, but , it was only OK. Great graphics, easy HOS, puzzles were good and not to challenging( a couple took a little time). There are alot of cutout scenes but that was ok. Small world all in all, It does take you a bit back and forth, but just a normal amount(in my opinion). I did enjoy the game though, but it was just OK June 4, 2012
Disappointed Mostly good game, could have used a map for getting around. But that is just me. Disappointed in the ending. It just fizzled out as if they just got tired and did what was easy. Really, the ending made all that went before senseless. Like I said a disappointment. June 1, 2012
Wish it were better I finally finished every tedious moment of this game. It started well enough with a creepy good story and nobody around but ghosts to tell it. Good artwork, clear HOS, interesting puzzles. At some point, all that fun stuff lost its momentum, and the game became a tedious, repetitive chore of running back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. I usually like going back and forth for things (unlike many other players), but this was too much! Contributing to the tedium is the lack of a map. There are a great many scenes in this game (which is GOOD) but trying to remember what they were, where they were in relation to where I was, and whether there was something left to do in a particular scene became not so much frustrating as boring. But I persevered, just so I could say I FINISHED IT! January 16, 2013
Pretty good game. At first when I started playing this game I didnt like it. I left it for a few days because I got busy with other things and when I went back to it I enjoyed it much more. The HOS are a little different but you get use to them. All in all I did enjoy the game. The ending was rather disappointing though because I felt there was no closure. October 28, 2012
