Great! I normally don't write reviews, but I felt this game is a tad different than a lot of them. The reason? I like the that the charactors are real actors and not cartoonish. I miss good ol' adventure games that actually used live actors...i.e.Urban Runner, That's an old '95 game, but still. The only downside is the HO games. Many of the objects were just too obscure to see and the scenes of these where terribly cluttered, maiing it worse to find objects. Over all. I liked it! June 8, 2012
A decent game! I did enjoy this game, but , it was only OK. Great graphics, easy HOS, puzzles were good and not to challenging( a couple took a little time). There are alot of cutout scenes but that was ok. Small world all in all, It does take you a bit back and forth, but just a normal amount(in my opinion). I did enjoy the game though, but it was just OK June 4, 2012
HOs With A Twist This game was creepy and fun. HO scenes were different than the norm for me. Some objects required interaction. Scenes were clear, not too small and crowded. Easy on the old eyes. Loved the live actors and VOs which I wish were in every game. Puzzles varied in challenge and the skip button is always handy. There's a lot of jumping from scene to scene but the hint button guided me in the right direction every time. By the way, I might be getting rid of my candles in the future. LOL June 2, 2012
Disappointed Mostly good game, could have used a map for getting around. But that is just me. Disappointed in the ending. It just fizzled out as if they just got tired and did what was easy. Really, the ending made all that went before senseless. Like I said a disappointment. June 1, 2012
Based on the trial Didn't like the human interaction, Graphics were good, atmosphere poor, HOS looked to be a bit of a jumble but items were in fact easy to find, some of them were interactive. Not the best story line but better than some. The hint button was a waste of time.Too much going back and forth, Far too easy, not tempted to buy the full game. March 13, 2013
An OK game There was nothing actually wrong with this game. It just didn't grab my interest and seemed tedious. I found myself waiting for it to be over. It could be just me, I guess. January 15, 2013
Too much clutter & backwards and forwards all the time yuk not much clarity given for the most part, (half) the time i needed to use the hint button to know where i should go next, and thats not ideal. I hated the inanimate wax figures, bored too death i wish i had not wasted my money on it! January 7, 2013
Likeable This game was good overall. The visuals were sharp as I like it. The HO scenes were reasonable & not dark & hard to find. The storyline was interesting in itself because it had quite a few twists & turns in it. So you had to definitely be aware of what's going on. I was lost here & there because it had been a while between me playing the trial version & actually purchasing it. When the game ended, it ended. I was disappointed with how it ended because, to me, there was nothing extra. It was kinda like you come out on top & you win, but there is no prize at the end. No teaser. No epilogue of any sort. It just ended and that was it. Based on that alone, I would normally say it's not worth it. But everything else was pretty much cool. So I guess I would recommend it. December 28, 2012
Pretty good game. At first when I started playing this game I didnt like it. I left it for a few days because I got busy with other things and when I went back to it I enjoyed it much more. The HOS are a little different but you get use to them. All in all I did enjoy the game. The ending was rather disappointing though because I felt there was no closure. October 28, 2012
not bad it's not a bad game but not as good as others from this game company. the story is awsome indeed, but i didnt like the real people that play the characters. they are pretty bad actors. the challenge level is medium. i enjoyed it overall, good for relaxing a little bit with a creepy game June 27, 2012
