not good for an older person I never played the demo because something happened and the time was up without me playing. Because I like this type of game, and I read all the great reviews, I decided to buy this game with 2 game credits. I am almost 80 and I enjoy games such as Birdland, Peggle and Banana Bug. I played until I saw the timer and then my heart rate went up as I hate a timer. Perhaps it will work out - I hope so. I marked the fun factor down because of my anxiety. I still recommend the game. Fun but initially not intuitive It took me a while to figure out who does what and that those bad guys' hovels need to be demolished. But the game is a pretty good time management game--have played 3 times so far. I do not like the "extra" games--they don't make much sense to me since there's no real goal to achieve. I skipped the story (I always do, I don't care what the story is since it doesn't affect game play and onlly wastes my limited time). Also like that you can complete a level even after you've run out of time so you can try different ways of doing things to try to shave off some time for next time around. Wish there were a way for the good warriors (or someone on our side) to build barriers to prevent the baddies from getting through--would help on some of the levels, maybe make barriers a reward that can be used only once or only on the last level or something. Lovely TM game I really enjoyed playing it and bought it immediately. I found the gameplay is quite similar to island tribe. Collecting resources and building objects to produce resources. It brought a lot of fun playing all the levels, but it did not capture my interest as much as other games of this genre did and so it did not got 5 stars from me. I think it is very worth a game credit, as it brings lots of fun and hours to play, but not worth a CE. There are not enough Levels or bonus features that would be worth extra money. The strategie guide is not a real help as it only gives overal tips and only 6 additional leves are not what I would expect as a Bonus. The levels are really good, but become kind of repetitive later on and there is not so much new atmosphere or new characters or buildings that keeps it interesting long term, and I found that the buildings look to similar to get a good overview on the scene. For example when you try to look where the storage could be or the farm. It was kind of a quest to identify it sometimes. It is not fair to compare it with Royal Envoy as this is simply a leage on its own, and could be and is probably a meassure for what it should be like. I always wait for something new to come that has the potential to become an addition to my favourites the I can play over and over again, like Royal Envoy or MKFP or Roads of Rome. I dont think that Kingdom Cronicles will get to my personal hall of fame although it still is a good game and I do recommend it. June 3, 2012
too short I would have given this 5 stars it is a great game, but it is very short. I never would have paid 13.99 for it if I had known. June 19, 2012
Great game I can tell how good a game is going to be by how quickly I become addicted. Similarly to My Kingdom for the Princess and Royal Envoy, this had be hooked from the beginning. April 26, 2013
Hate when this happens!!!! I loved this game until episode 40. I cannot click super fast because of painful joints. So, up until this level, I was able to do the little fighting necessary and enjoy the game. But the last level in the regular game (40) requires that you fight almost constantly while trying to do other things. I hate it!!!!! If you don't mind the constant clicking, go ahead and buy the game. June 4, 2012
not worth the money. A collectors edition and you get three or four extra plays. what a crock. I wasted my credits. It was worth one credit or 6.99, not 13.99 and not 2 credits. The game is good but nothing really special that isn't in another of the 'save the king or princess' games June 14, 2012
Really addictive I liked the game alot but gave it three stars because it was too short for me I beat the game in one day. :( Wish there was more. June 19, 2012
Kingdom Cronicles Collector's Edition??? This one was hard to comment on or rate so I gave it three stars the first half should get five...The game it self had a good play value but the second part came with a statement of, Don't get confused witch was quite nessary the second half that made it a:-( collectors edition was more than disipointing and was not a expected story line I enjoyed or would expect:-( not a real plot that adds to the story ... :-( the first half is good and will be a good purchace with out the extra price for the not so good second half... would I recomend this game yes but not in the collectors edition!!! there should be a third choice of ( not sure ) June 11, 2012
good but nothing extraordinary Very similar to My Kingdom for the Princess and Roads of Rome. Played the demo and it was fun but I'm not planning to buy the full version. There is nothing new there. But if you don't know MKFTP or ROR, then I would recommend it. June 15, 2012
