Excellent, but....
This was an instant buy for me, a great, fun game...with well done graphics and is challenging.
But is it worth a CE..!!! The 6 extras levels are totally different...and are just a click fest...the strategy guide is just plain simple basic instruction and the couple of artwork are well not a lot.
So you don't lose anything if you wait for the SE. Will do for the probable sequel.

Hate when this happens!!!!
I loved this game until episode 40. I cannot click super fast because of painful joints. So, up until this level, I was able to do the little fighting necessary and enjoy the game. But the last level in the regular game (40) requires that you fight almost constantly while trying to do other things. I hate it!!!!! If you don't mind the constant clicking, go ahead and buy the game.

Splendid Game
I am having such fun with this game. How nice to have a game that is not so grim-no missing children, no statues weeping blood, no ghost jumping at you, no demons or headless people or zombies. Just a nice game on the order of My Kingdom For A Princess, or Roads to Rome. There is a level of skill to it as well as speed, and it's easy to follow. If you're looking for a pleasant, interesting game this is it.

Gold Standard
I love this game! I rarely pop for Collector's Editions, but 30 minutes of playing this game made me hit "Buy!"
As others have said, it's similar to the MKFTP series and other similar games. But Kingdom Chronicles has more. For instance, the challenge level of each episode is different so, while you can skate your way to success in some episodes, you will really have to strategize on others. There was real thought put into drawing the characters and the scenes, and the overall look is delightful.
There are some different powerups, and you have to work out how to collect some of them in time to be useful. The goals in each episode are not the same, which is a nice change. I think it will also be possible to have a different game experience each time because you can try varying your playing strategy.
You can ask for help if you need, but I preferred to work out how to achieve the gold medal for myself. It's not as easy as you might think, in some cases.
The gameplay is crisp and fun. The music is not grating (which is more than you can say for some games!), and the fun factor is there in bucketfuls.
All in all, a great game. I hope they plan sequels!

Better than My Kingdom for a Princess
I have been playing this for the last 2 hours straight. This game is like My Kingdom for a princess but on steroids. There is much more going on. there were no lulls whatsoever. The only con I can find in this game is it is a bit on the easy side to get the gold time. The graphics and music are really superb.

great for a long rainy day
Now I have only tested the demo, that said I quite enjoyed the game. Its a great little game, and one that takes a little stragtic thinking ( best possible route, what to do first etc) I like the characters my favourite were the guards. ( a sucker for a guy in armour i suppose) The game is fast paced which suits me just fine.

A great builder
what a awesome game...very cute animations,, you can continue even after the timer runs out,,,,,very roads of rome..err ish.....there are 40 levels in the main game....i dont know how many in the bonus.....it was a automatic buy for me,,,there are trophys to earn, power ups....a cute storyline.....i recommend this game

Better then death, vampires, and blood games!!
I truly enjoyed this game. I am now on the "Bonus" section #which, by the way, has no "help" so you are on your own. Is it as good as Royal Envoy, MKFTP, or Road to Rome? Hmmmmm ... maybe not, but still enjoyable challenge. I got gold all the way to the bonus levels, and am frustrated there is no help. In the bonus levels, your roll is reversed. Instead of beating the bad guys, you have to beat the good guys. I think it was well worth the price. I just like that I didn't have to see another person kidnapped or killed. Truly enjoyable game :#

Love this game!
Finally an excellent TM Game! If you are, like me, a fan of TM games or Strategy games, you'll love it, for sure! It was an immediate buy! Graphics are awesome and characters are funny. Like My Kingdom for the princess or Island Tribe, really funny and exciting! And it's a Collector Edition! Definitively recommend this game!

CE? not sure
Like many reviewers said: this falls in with the other games of this sort. Collect wood etc. build up the huts,build the barracks etc.Music was a bit too repetitive for me. The graphics are crisp and you have decent good time on the upgrades. Not sure that I want to buy CE though because in the 1 hour that I played I did not need strategy guide. I might need it later but not sure it is worth the extra money.Maybe I finally played too many of those games that I can wait, I was not impressed with anything so special that I must have it right away, even though I still prefer it instead of all the HOG.
