Best tower defense yet! I find myself questioning whether or not I'm playing the same game that some of the other reviewers are. Some of the complaints given to this game are nonsensical, but I've seen them made before which leads me to believe there are quite a few players out there who simply do not understand how a tower defense game works. There is a lack of instruction in this game, but if you have ever played a tower defense game before, you would be able to figure this one out quite easily. I had NO difficult whatsoever getting the hang of the game, in fact I find it's actually more straightforward and easier to play than a few other tower defense titled I've tried in the past. The graphics are great for the genre and the control scheme is very good. The only thing that could improve the easy of play would be a larger, custom cursor. The game has tonnes of levels, great unit upgrades, and exciting gameplay. Easily the best tower defense game I've played in a long time. November 11, 2012
The Military would be proud I liked this game. It was fun and I liked the challenge that it gave. The only thing I didn't like was that the man you took with you didn't stay the same level that they were in the last level and that you had to buy them again to use them. June 12, 2012
Excellent Game Love TD games? Want a GOOD challenge? Then check it out! This title offers so many strategic paths that it took me awhile to develop a winning one!! Should I upgrade early units to the max, buy more units, or wait for that much needed Tank in later waves? hmmmmm The unit upgrade paths provide a choice for your individual playing style, but don't waste Stars going in 2 directions. Think about it and choose 1 path only. Trust me. I didn't find the Durability paths to be of much use. FIREPOWER baby!!! I gave sound 4 stars for the annoying repetitive "death rattles" the soldiers make. Would be nice to turn off Voices and leave on gun Effects. I learned the sounds of enemy fire to know when to repair my units, so I didn't want to turn off sound completely. The gunfire also adds to the atmosphere of the game. The unit graphics are ok but the landscape/background is VERY cool! It looks like a boardgame on a picnic table/blanket has come to life. Nice touch! Sure, I had to replay a few levels several times to get a perfect score, but then I learned of a unique feature I haven't seen in other TD games. I clicked on the Hearts#upper left# and discovered I can buy more Hearts and $$$ for that level using my Reward Stars. Awesome!!! So that totally changed my approach. On harder levels I replay trying to minimize the number of enemy troops that get through. Then just before I finish the level I buy hearts to get up to 100. Spending 20 or 40 Reward Stars to gain the extra 180 you receive for a perfect score is a good ROI, haha. Besides, I enjoy playing levels a few times to fine tune strategies. A few levels send so many men on some waves that I was overwhelmed. Ok, fresh tactics! Buy MORE units instead of upgrading existing ones too much too early. Then the $$$ you make killing those 2-3 massive waves of men will allow more upgrades! Ta dahh.... I've only completed the first 16 levels with perfect scores and am looking forward to more fun challenges. Haven't even begun Hard Winter yet. I'm so excite!!! April 26, 2013
Love Love Love!! Absolutely, absolutely LOVE this game! Have always adored tower defense genres, but this one is quite special! The basic mechanics are simple, easy to navigate, and the graphics are adorable too! (Have read reviews where people take offense to the sounds the soldiers make, but I find it alright). The levels are appropriately difficult, and some of them had me obsessively retrying to get the elusive gold medal. High replay value, highly recommend! November 13, 2012

great great, fantastic, love it its fun! September 27, 2012
Where's the "Die Hard" Campaign (Sandbox Missions)? This is a very challenging but fun game. The only thing I don't like are the red colored soldiers, they're so numerous and so tough to get rid of, I'm almost always forced to spend my hard-earned stars to top up my hearts back to 100. I played all levels in both "First Blood" and "Hard Winter" campaigns over and over just to get the Gold Shield and max 200 stars, and to see if that would somehow "unlock" the fabled "Die Hard" campaign (as alluded to in the Achievements screen). But alas, it didn't work, and I was left wondering if there ever was a third campaign included in this game to begin with, very disappointing. Looking forward to the sequel though, which is supposed to feature WWII weapons. September 25, 2012
Awesome game Continuous development of towers is awesome. One drawback is once you level a tower, taking into the next map locks its development path. Path should be able to change since you still have to pay for each level anyways. Other than that, awesome game! August 27, 2012
nice tower defense game! I finally finished the game! it took over a month to get gold on every level. It was seriously addictive! I really enjoy tower defense games and I loved this one and its a total bargain. July 29, 2012
