Kingdom Chronicles Collector's Edition 4.6 5 112 112
Fun game! Similar to Island Tribe, Roads of Rome and the MKFTP series. It is challenging, but not overly so. I have played between 15-20 levels and I have gotten the gold on every level except two. You definitely need to look at the level before starting to plan your strategy and the goals for each level are very clear. Graphics are well done and the music is not too annoying. Overall, a fun game! May 28, 2012
not worth the money. A collectors edition and you get three or four extra plays. what a crock. I wasted my credits. It was worth one credit or 6.99, not 13.99 and not 2 credits. The game is good but nothing really special that isn't in another of the 'save the king or princess' games June 14, 2012
Let's play all day This is a great addition for time management lovers! Wonderful graphics, lots of challenges. good story line. When they say look over the area before you play, well... it's a excellent idea lol. May 31, 2012
FUN game that makes you think more than you can imagine! I normally don't go for these types of time management games, but this one is really well done (and the first time I used 2 credits on a TM game and I don't regret it at all). The graphics are fun, not sure whether the story line is THAT interesting, although it does tie everything together, and the strategies you have to come up with are constantly getting harder and harder. Loved the one level where I though "aw, shucks this looks easy" until the earthquake came and messed everything up! I'm always striving for the gold - so I find myself yelling at the computer "move faster guys" or "no no...go here, not there". All in good fun! The guys who trade one thing for another, I do wish they would stop yelling (can't tell you WHAT they say, just sounds like mumble mumble to me) but that is no reason not to thoroughly enjoy this game. You find yourself even doing the same level over trying to get a better score. June 18, 2012
adorable graphics and engaging story make this a must-have! in this time management strategy game, you are John Brave, who returns from a voyage only to find his homeland was captured by a greedy villain during his absence. this villain was thwarted in love by the beautiful princess, so the villain is getting his revenge by imprisoning the princess and the king, and by trashing their kingdom. after his ship is wrecked (because the lighthouse was destroyed), John decides to rebuild the kingdom and save the princess from this villain. graphics: the art is lovely and the characters are adorable! cutscenes are static comics that present the basic story with a minimum of scripted dialogue. music and sound effects: flamenco score, pleasant background music. no sound effects. no voiceovers. gameplay: the game is intricate enough that you should not skip the tutorial. as you progress, the levels become more challenging, requiring a bit of strategy to win. there are 40 levels and 39 different achievements you can win, all of which serve to increase this game?s replayability. if you complete the tutorial, you have a hints button, but if you don't complete the tutorial, you instead have a help button (not sure what the difference is between these two). CE has is a built-in strategy guide, and access to artwork and extra gameplay are unlocked after you've completed the game. storyline: basically, the kingdom is in ruin and bands of criminals roam the land. you are John Brave, who is mustering the people to reclaim their kingdom by fixing its damaged roads, reconstructing its sacked housing, businesses and other infrastructures and re-establishing social order. my interaction: i own this game. my only complaint is this game is a bit pricey, but after i'd started playing it, i HAD to have it anyway. the bonus three stamps on my club card provided an extra incentive to purchase it. i am not disappointed. if you've never played time management or strategy games before, this is an excellent one to start with! fans of time management/strategy games will absolutely LOVE this one! great family fun! Great Time Waster, Somewhat Challenging I loved this game for two major reasons: Some of the levels you really had to plan what your next move was--like chess. If you decided to build or collect something too soon/late it affected your overall medal rating. The second reason was that it took a lot of time to complete. I was not able to finish the game during a couple of my toddler's "nap-times". I actually played it all week, couple levels at a time. Pros: *Visually pleasing *Music was just right *Had to use your brain through some levels *Made you want to get a gold medal *Took a lot of time to finish the game Cons: *A couple levels were too easy, especially in the end *I wish there was more to the storyline Overall, the game is well worth it and wonderful! Great Previous reviews say it all. I bought it without even trying it first. And I am not disappointed. It could be a little more challenging, but it's great so far. May 29, 2012
What a Hoot..!~!~ I usually play HOG's , and never really got into TM, on that note, however this is the cutest and very well planned out would buy more of this style..Play the demo and hopifully you will agree..I played the demo for like 10-15 minutes before I bought this one..!~! May 28, 2012
Kingdom Chronicles Tried this game because I was tired of looking for hidden objects, a bit bored with puzzle, time management and match three games. Really enjoyed the trial so I bought it and play it as a "relax" time game! It's fun, challenging in a different way then the time management games and very different. July 28, 2012
Man this thing is huge! I have been playing for weeks (yes weeks) granted I have to stop after about six or seven levels because my hand starts to die but each time I sit down it is for several hours (today was three). I just finished the main game and just started the extras - and it is practically the same size (levels) as the main game. WOW! The game is great. I never play this type of game, but I got pulled into this one and liked it so much that I got the CE. I am very glad that I did. Love it! July 27, 2012
