The First Several Levels Are Awesome Then Crash ...
I'm in my late 50's. married, the mother of 17 children and have 14 grandchildren with 3 more due the end of this year. I play computer games at night to relax after spending a hectic day cleaning our home, cooking & baking, doing laundry, running errands, etc.
I think the first few levels of this game are awesome when played in the Relaxed setting but then it gets to a level that for me, I have thus far spent about 90 minutes trying to complete this level without any success thus far. I'm almost to the point where I think this level is unbeatable which is why I gave this game only 3 stars, along with "OK" for fun factor, and "Poor" for Level of Challenge.
I lose complete interest in a game in which a level appears to be unbeatable such is the case in this game. If I had realized this, I would never have thrown my money away to purchase this game.
For this reason, I will NOT recommend purchasing this game.

disappointing graphics
I thought the best thing about previous Kahuna games was the brilliant graphics. Although the "reef" area is quite good, the gameplay area looks like a 5 year old had a go at it. The end of game screens are also very flat and boring. I feel like I need a seeing eye dog to play the match 3 component; it is just not clear. Just no bells and whilstles.
I'm very disappointed and won't be buying it. Fishdom for all its weird sequels (halloween etc) is far better than this.

Not Up to Par
Have been playing BKR2 for more than 5 years. Still collect new boards as they're posted. This (#3) just doesn't make the grade. Action is slow and jerky; graphics are pretty, but colors are not sufficiently distinctive to make the game easy to follow. Won't be picking this one up. Kind of reminds of another BKR takeoff featuring flowers and fairies several years ago that was cute, action pretty much the same as BKR2, but one couldn't differentiate the colors and symbols.

Great Game
I really enjoyed this game as I am a lover of match 3 games; it kept me thinking and this game throws things at you if just like are me and you don?t read all the instructions You don?t know what?s happening

jumpy slow
I was so looking forward to this game and was sadly disappointed. The game is slow and jumps. I would expect that something of this appeared simplicity would not stall and be slow running. I glad I did not pull the trigger and buy it.

Not worth it!
NOTHING like the others!!!!!!! Been playing both Big Kahuna Reef games since they came out and love them. I played the demo for BKR 3 for 11 minutes and uninstalled it. Background reef is good but hard to tell the pieces apart against the blue background. They are too similar in color and size.
