Just Loved It! Not much to say that hasn't been said. This game was so fun and so different. I want another one like it. The music, storyline and graphics were superb. You guys have brought us some good games this past week. June 24, 2012
Great game, well worth the cost Fun, quirky game with funny dialog and great graphics. I recommend learning how to use the map flag right away to avoid frustration. A note pad is also helpful to make it easier to find houses again once you collect the necessary items. I think if you like Wandering Willows you'll love this one too. Days of fun with this game. I just wish the devs would have used voices for the characters. June 24, 2012
Finally something a bit different I have just finished playing The City of Fools and had so much fun with it! The game quality was great although I was a little disappointed with the audio effects. I love the fact that you can have a more unique game experience as you can complete tasks in any order. It's a little frustrating when you can't find a character you've started a task for but that's just my own impatience rather than the games fault! My only real fault with it is that the end is a little anti-climatic after running around the town. It would also be nice if you could go back to the town and complete any outstanding tasks. Overall thought a fantastic game. Hope they do City of Fools 2 very soon. June 24, 2012
This game is addictive! Wow, my mind is blow! This game rocks! Plot- you are a journalist sent to a town to interview the mayor and find out why he is hiding an alien object. You have to walk around town, speak with the town folk and complete tasks for them. You have a journal that keeps track of all of your tasks and a map of the city. The journal is cool- you can flip through page by page or go to the Contents to see a list of all tasks. If you need a hint, you can click on the Hint button and it will give you a clue. The map is useful too. If you place a flag where you want to go, the map will give you white arrows to follow so you get there quick. Trust me, this will be your best friend in this game! I suggest keeping a pad and pen handy to jot down what house number or location where you have a task to complete, since this information is not captured in the journal. Keep your eyes peeled as you walk around town for objects to pick up. You'll need them at some point! So far I am up to over 100 tasks and about 2/3 are completed. I have been playing for over 3 hours! June 23, 2012
Must Buy This game is wonderfully original! The graphics are unlike most you've seen. The story is funny and the game lasts a long time. June 23, 2012
meh Not all it's cracked up to be. Folks here seem to really like this game but to me it was frustrating. It seemed like it wasn't thoroughly thought out (many missed opportunities for an engaging story line, characters you actually WANT to interact with, and/or challenging puzzles) and the lack of real voice overs was really annoying (if you don't have the budget for voice actors, use text... don't replace it with a buzzing/warbling sound instead!). But don't take my word for it, try the demo. If you can see past these flaws you may enjoy the game. Color me unimpressed. September 15, 2012
What a Wacky fun time! Very cute game. At first I was nervous about the endless inventory, but I just went with it. Totally fun. I have only finished the trial and about 1/2 hour more, but had to do review! June 21, 2012
Not for me This may have been a good game, but I deleted the game after around 10 minutes as the developer couldn't be bothered to spell and grammar check their work. As soon as I saw 'peace' of ticket instead of 'piece' I decided that if they couldn't take the care to check these things, (whilst expecting people to purchase the game), then why should I take the care to play and buy? I am not a stickler for the language, but it does annoy me that they use the wrong word, I mean I have to just about cope with the 'American English' (if I couldn't cope with that then I would probably have around 2 games to choose from :)), but to get things like this wrong really is unforgivable. I know they are a foreign company (based in the Ukraine) but other games from them seem to be better checked (well the ones I have played ('1000 doors' for example), but this no, had it been later in the game then maybe it could have been forgiveable but not at the start. Sorry for the rant, but hey ho. March 4, 2013
Found Sound Irritating I did not finish the 60 minute trial as I found the sound irritating, both the background music and the "talk." You basically run around a large map with no real direction and figure it out as you go. I usually like the challenge of these types of adventures, especially one that is so off the main track but I couldn't get into this one. December 2, 2012
meh a little repetitive and a lil tedious. wish there was more to do October 3, 2012
