Hard to Keep my Interest First of all, one must really love animals to play this one! and I do love animals, real ones tho! While the overall sound and picture qualities are very good, I find that it is too animated and unless you really like animated, cartoon like characters, this game will be a dissapointment. (the dogs were very life like tho!) It is a very slow moving game, causing boredom to set in quickly. And having to use the stragegy guide all the time to figure what to do next takes away alot of the excitement and fun of the game. While I respect others comments, I personally got bored playing the free trial. But, I say, try the free trial. Decide for yourself...who knows you may just love the game, but it's just not for me. I'm only recommending this game for all those animal lovers and cartoon lovers out there! June 29, 2012
Fierce Tales: The Dog's Heart Collector's Edition I was lovin' this game, until the room with the snakes!!! I have a phobia of snakes...That lost me immediately!!! People who don't mind snakes, will love this game, I expect... June 28, 2012
WEAK GAME HAD A VERY STRANGE STORY AND NOT WORTH GETTING INTO. June 30, 2012
Beautiful! I love happy endings and this game had a happy ending. It was so nice to have a map where you just click on a location and immediately go there. I wish all the HO games were like that. I enjoyed the bonus game also. Highly recommend this game. The scenery is nice also. I didn't care for all the mini-games but just skipped what I didn't like. April 8, 2013
A definite "yes" I enjoyed every minute of this game..even the extra gameplay. I will say that there is a lot of running back and forth but the map cuts out the frustration, just click and you are there, love that feature in a game. Wish they all had it! The CE is well worth the money. Can't wait to play this again! January 13, 2013
a dog lovers dream this is a fun game for dog lovers. fortunately the hint button told me exactly where to go because like so many games there was no map and knowing where to go next was not easy or obvious but otherwise you are saving the dogs and what could be more rewarding. overall an easy fun game. I bought the CE - not sure I needed it but mainly needed the really good hint button. I don't use sound so can't comment on that but I do recommend this game. December 25, 2012
NO FAIRY TALE ENDING This game did not end with the evil forces being vanquished, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. I was definitely rooting for the underdog, no pun intended. I played under the middle difficulty mode. I will probably never play a game where I can't skip the puzzles, as I am just not good at certain kinds. The game was long and required a lot of back and forth as seems to be normal in these kinds of games. I didn't figure out until the very last part of the extra chapter that the map could be used to quickly move from location to location instead of doing all the downs and overs and ups, etc. Sure would have saved me a lot of time if I had figured that out at the beginning. But I usually skip the tutorials, and it might have been covered in that. The hint button was very helpful; not once did I get a generic message like "nothing more to do here, go somewhere else", the kind of message which frustrates me to no end. The puzzles were interesting and none of the HOS were repeats. The extra chapter got off to a kind of confused start, but was a great addition and made the CE worth the extra money. It fit nicely into the storyline of the main game and was pretty long. This game is a good example of what a CE should be like. December 12, 2012
Mayzy's Reviews - Fierce Tales: The Dog's Heart Collector's Edition I can't remember why I bought the CE version of this game. I don't normally. I'll start right off by saying that I stuck around and played this game through to the end, but was not engaged enough to actually play the bonus material. I think that sort of sums up the game in general: decent, but just not something worth writing home about. I'm a big dog lover, which is what initially attracted me to the game. The dog bits were excellent. Why don't more HOGs take advantage of dogs? Alas. What really turned me off was the characters. The scenery itself was beautiful but the characters had that look of being creepy Barbie dolls that so many games succumb to when trying to put 3D people on a 2D background. They were so incongruous that they just jolted me right out of the game ambiance. Oddly, though, the 3D dogs were pretty well done! The game WAS fun and worth a look if you've got a discount, but I personally would not get the CE addition, were I to do it again. November 28, 2012
Great game! It was such a great game overall that I'll only tell the cons: - the usage of several similar items in the Hidden Object scenes, for example two locomotives, two binoculars... My cursor froze just because I thought the game had a glitch when it was just bad scene planning. - some of the objects were reeeally hard to see and find due to the similar colour with the background and/or being actually too hidden behind another object Other than that I can recommend it! Great puzzles, awesome visual quality and so on. October 25, 2012
Pretty but not particularly compelling Beautiful sounds and graphics, but a story line that is not particularly gripping. I really didn't care what happened in this game, so the puzzles, even the good ones, felt like obstacles I just had to get through because I had paid for the game. Good things in the game: You don't get an overloaded inventory which makes things manageable, nice sounds and graphics. It's not a bad game, but this is the first game of this type that I could not complete in one sitting in a few hours or over a few days, and could only face coming back to it a couple of weeks later, feeling obliged to complete it after having paid for it - hence the overall 2 stars. I like dogs, but not this game. September 30, 2012
