Discover the secret of Rachel's past in Howlville: The Dark Past! Many years ago an artifact was found in a mine near the small town of Howlville. The government asked Dr. Joseph and a group of scientists to examine it. Something went wrong and the experiments were halted and classified. The town closed off. Since then nobody knows what happened to Dr. Joseph. Fifteen years later his daughter Rachel is on the verge of solving the mystery, but somebody is doing everything possible to keep her from succeeding. Mixed Feelings
Great interactive HOS. Some outstanding puzzles and some tedious. Graphics and storyline were sub par. I enjoyed the HOS so much that I enjoyed the game even with the drawbacks.

nice HO's in the same old story
I found this game to be a bit average. it really didn't have anything that was new or refreshing. It does have some good artwork and there was more interactive stuff in the HO scenes that I liked. But for me at least.. the same old story of the experiment gone wrong and the crazy who wants all the power. .yawn.. was just not enough to win me over. This was a nice kill an afternoon or two type game but not overly original. Good HO's, some pretty graphics and kind odd an anti climactic ending. This one is kind of short and simple but okay as games go

Excellent Game
My daughter and I had a blast! The graphics were beautiful and clear. The hidden object scenes were challenging and fun. Can't wait to see more from the creators. Only wished the game was a little bit longer.

good game
I can't say any more than has been said before...this is a good game with good graphics and story. Some of the puzzles were difficult, but luckily the hint button refreshes fast.

Easy to Follow
No running all over the place to use inventory items. Item is used in the same or next scene. Story line is not too wordy and hint recharges quickly. HO scenes are clear and have mini problems to solve in order to get all the items. Fun game.

Good Timepass
liked it quite a lot. the minigames were good too. also the hint fills up at moderate time so i can easily skip wherever i want. a nice game indeed.

Howlville - For a Howling Good Time!
Challenging, fun graphics, can't comment on sound/music because I play without sound. Took me 6-8 hours which seemed like a good value for the money, didn't even get through the gate in the trial hour, but maybe I'm just slow. ;-) I had to use the walkthrough a few times when I was just confused about where to go or what to do next, just to lower my level of frustration! I highly recommend this game.

Committee-made game
The visual qualities of this game are astounding and beautifully crafted. The problem I have with this sort is it looks like someone created a fantastic game then someone else said we have to have a monster. An over-the-top one at that. The quality of the monster is ridiculous when overlaid on this game. Even the name is designed around the monster - not the beautiful quality of the crafting. The artwork is fantastic the monster artwork is infantile and insulting. I can't help but feel how much better this game would have been with a normal "bad guy."

Good Game
Enjoyed this game for the mad scientist/experiment factor. Wish I could have seen animation, VOs and more creatures. HOs and puzzles were good.
