Why is it always Luisa who's being saved?
Just once it would be nice if Luisa got off her lazy tuchus and saved the sister. The sister never gets a happy ending of her own. She's always alone in the end until her sister needs to be rescued again.
The voice acting in this is TERRIBLE. I finally had to turn it off because they just did not know how to properly read a line. Especially whomever was playing the little boy.
The game itself is okay. Not as good as the first two. Still tired of rescuing Luisa. And seriously, they need better voice actors. Maybe ones who actually - gasp - know how to act!

Good game and fun
Elephant games are another really good developer. Long games and fun to play. Has a map and good graphics, voice over and music. The HOS are good and so are the puzzles. A fun enjoyable game.

YAWN - what a bore
I bought and played the CE. Was a terrible disappointment.
I found the story line herky jerky and as a whole the game did not flow for me.
If you're going to purchase it, I would recommend waiting until it comes on the $2.99 special.
Prolly the best part of the game was the hint system. They did that part well.

Bleh
I really don't like it when the cursor has to tell me what everything is... "Fireplace", "Lawn", "Doll".... That alone made me quit after 5 minutes. I don't care how good the story is, or the challenge of the puzzles, if a game is just going to irritate me with labeling everything, acting as if I'm just learning the language...

BORING
This game is a must for people who do not know what a door is or a fireplace. When your cursor passes over these items, the word "door" or "fireplace" or "window" pops up.
Great for little kids. Need something to put you to sleep? This is the game.
Can't figure out how anyone can give it 5 stars.
Plus, it's blurry

Very Good Game
Has just about everything I require for a game to win 5 stars.
The artwork is very well done...hidden objects look like what they're supposed to. Puzzles are challenging but doable. Storyline is captivating....I am definitely interested in how and why things happened? All in all a game worth spending the money on to buy the CE.
I didn't get very far....Some outside distractions kept me from playing as much as I would have liked before my time was up so this review is not based on a full hour of dedicated play. Still a great Elephant game. Enjoy fellow gamers

I just say: EXCELLENT
I love the Grim Tales series. And this one is another hit (based on the demo verison).
Excellent graphics, well, the cut-scenes are a bit mediocre, but still worthwhile to watch. Nice mini games - and they are different from the ones you might have already played.
I adore the little marionnette, whom you have to follow in certain scenes (you click on him and the map will appear - also helpful, when you get stuck somewhere) ... I'm glad, there's no diary (who wants to read all that anyway).
I love the voice-overs, background music and acoustics in general. Very well done and quite often extremely realistic.
The game-play is challenging, but absolutely makeable.
For me a definite buy - I'll wait till the Mac version will come out - hopefully VERY soon.
I highly recommend it.

One Of The Best Games
I looked at the reviews and got the CE straight away and was not disapointed at all.
I rated this game very high caues I really could not fault it.
The designers got every thing right as far as I could see.
The Graphics were execellent.
The Voice over was clear.
The story line was good.
The Mini Games were just right.
The map was very useful.
I cant say anything else except you must give this one ago, it is Great and alot of fun.

Map Please Map Please Map Please Map Please!
Great game one of the best yet but why oh why is there no map?! Where is the challenge in spending all that time going room to room to use an item? I have just gone through 16 locations to use something!!!! I know where I have to go so let me jump there! Instructions for puzzles confusing to say the least. Shame.The rest is first rate.
