Here's the skinny on this game
This is not anywhere near as challenging as the Timebuilders games, but it isn't easy, either. The second stage requires some thinking, and it gets tougher as you go along. There is a point at which the game seems to be more routine than challenge, but it never gets boring; there is always something that, if missed or forgotten, messes up everything.
The storyline is basic and not very intrusive. The music is a nice folk-pop thing that doesn't get annoying right away. The animation is decent, the board is clean and the goals are generally clearly spelled-out.
Bottom line: I am enjoying this very much. It's not a Top Ten game, but I come back to it often, which is all I really ask of a game: make me want to play it again.
Suggestion: this could be a wonderful game for kids to play with parent help. Show the youngster how to do things, then let them see what they can do. Be there to offer help or point out when things need doing. There are lots of laughs to be had, and some good lessons to be learned, while having fun together.

WOW Recommend this Game!!
I thought this was going to be another TM game were I would some success if I could get my clicking hand up to speed. I have played for 3 hours, I can not tell you how many times i restarted because my stratedgy was all wrong. I am only on level 8 LOL.
It only resembles Farm Frenzy in that it is on a farm. I love this game so much and it is such a challenge that it rated my first review.

Cute game
This is a nice, colorful TM game. I admit I am not fast enough to have any success at these games but I do try and this game is as good as the rest.
The story is Leia has to make her farm profitable and you help her with growing crops and tending animals. I love the chickens.
I didn't get very far with the demo; I didn't make it past stage three. I had a second storage and a flour mill. You get gold stars if you get your goal within the amount of time you're given. I took over twice as long to complete the tasks, but that's just me.
The graphics are good but the music is dreadful. I turned the sound off and the sound effects up all the way. The tutorial is a bit hard to read because it is a blue outline of the letters.
It's definitely worth a try to see if it's for you.

The Master Of Challenge A Definite 5 Stars For Strategy OMG and LOL!
This review is for the whole game.
There are 77 levels and this is timed.
This game is broken down into the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) and there are "levels" within each season.
You are running a farm, and have to plant/collect products such as eggs, wheat, corn,and turn them into flour, bread, etc; just to name a few of the products. You are also given a small amount of resources such as animals, machines, and some money (sometimes no money) at the beginning of each level and how you accomplish the level goal is completely up to you but this game is definitely all about strategy and not a click fest type of game. Oh and yes it's true that you have to "sell" some of the products that's already been earned in your goal to help you make money.
You can also delete machines that you don't need and at times you have to so you can make room for other machines. This isn't like other TM games where you can sell it back for money however you can sell animals that aren't needed. You also have to buy storage units. It's also cheaper to buy another storage unit than upgrade however most levels you will need more than one.
Proceed to next level: As long as you are in the season (spring for example) if you run out of time you can continue until you finish the level however long it takes and go onto the next level, however to go to the next season (summer) you must have all gold for the spring season so it's just best to try and get gold or you won't be able to open up the next season and finish the game.
My overall impression of this game:
Well I don't play too many of these type of games cause I have rheumatoid arthritis as I find most of these to be a click fest and way too much madness for me however as I mentioned this is not a click fest type of game cause if it was well I wouldn't of played it all the way through.
This game was mentioned in the chit chat forum when it was first released so I thought I would "give it a whirl". I honestly thought after about 15 to 20 minutes tops I would end up deleting this game and moving on to something else but oh no I've been pretty much obsessed with this game from when it was first released back in July and I finally finished this yesterday September 1st. I've never been so determined to conquer a game.
Yes I have taken small breaks from this game and played some others but outside of work, eat, sleep, watching some TV and some house chores, it's been pretty much this game for over a month as some of these levels I had to do over and over again and level 76 was the hardest of them all for me. Trying to make 50 cakes in 9 minutes and 20 seconds.
I did most of the levels on my own but did have to seek help from the forum on a few of them and so glad fellow game players took time out to post how they made gold on the levels or I'd still be playing.
Yes I'll admit I got a little frustrated on some of these levels and I must say when I first started playing this like some of the other reviews I found it kind of annoying that you have to sell some of what you already earned but the more I played this game well this part of the game is what ended up really intriguing me that it wasn't THAT easy to get the gold on the levels. Overall I just absolutely LOVE this game as the animals are so cute as there are hens, sheep, cows and the hedgehog collectors will help you gather the items and put them in the storage containers and you make so many different things in this like cakes, milkshakes, tarts, popcorn. Just to name a few things. This game just has it all.
This developer is definitely the master of challenge and strategy in my opinion. OMG and LOL! I see from the forum for this game working on a Farm Fables 2 and all I have to say is BRING IT! I hope to see it soon!
Thanks for a great game Big Fish and developer. A definite 5 star game all the way from me and I usually don't go for this type of game. This ROCKS!

A fun strategy gaem.
This isn't really a TM game. It's almost purely a strategy game.
If you're not into clicking things really fast and instead like to think of what is the best way to beat a level, this game is for you.

Wonderful game
This is the absolute BEST farming game I have ever played!!! I am more into the clear-the-road type of games and usually skip farm games since they are just the same old, same old. But this is different!!!
It is fun, cute and very challenging in the strategic sense - it is not necessary to click like crazy.
And you never run out of water - me like!!! ;O)

For those who love strategy
It doesn't look like it, I almost didn't try it, but it's a little gem !
It's a little like farm frenzy, but you really have to think what you're gonna grow, what machines you're gonna buy and what to sell in order to get gold.
Many many levels, so it keeps you entertained for quite a while.

Keeps you interested with many levels!
I absolutely love the graphics in this game. There are plenty of levels; which is a major plus with me. I hate any game that I finish right after I've paid for it. I hope that they come out with more time management games with lots of levels and great graphics like this one!
It's a refreshing break from all of the many dark hidden object games.

Not a little kid game!
I'm addicted to TM games, and this is one of the best ones I've played. Definitely not a game just for little kids. Levels are challenging, and of a decent length. I love games that take a while to play, while still keeping your interest. Thanks for something new and interesting!

Definitely Read The Directions!
the demo of this was fun and i'll probably pick this game up soon.
i think that most people are expecting this game to run just like ranch rush or farm frenzy or some other game. it doesn't. everyone would do well to not click thru or skip the tutorial and actually read the instructions. you'll find a different twist on the farm game than you've had previously and will enjoy it a lot more if you do that.
i personally liked the graphics, the animals were cute and fuzzy and looked more 3D almost and the rest of the graphics were cute and colorful. the music wasn't great but not terrible, i turned it down tho as i usually play games to my own music.
this game isn't a 5 star game but it's definitely at least a 4+. you'll need to think and use strategy to solve each days tasks in time to get gold and i like that for a change instead of the same old click click click.
definitely worth a demo. it starts out easy and gets more challenging so give it the whole hour and see what you think and definitely Read The Directions before you try and play it like it's some other game lol. Happy Gaming
