Wouldnt bother It is difficult to navigate around. The hidden object is quite boring and there is little else to do . Only played for 30 minutes before I lost interest. I wouldn't bother with this. It is so bad this is my first review in all the years I have been a big fish member. July 18, 2012
No more hand holding This is more like an interactive movie than a game. Lots of info with a good story. Nat Geo packed this with tons of info for those who want to learn, but skippable for those with no patience. The story is good, yet another perspective of what may have happened within the events. WARNING: This game is NOT for those who want a cut and paste game. YOU have to figure out where to go, what to do, there is no hand holding. No directional arrows to dumb down where to go, it's up to you to navigate. I love a good mindless, time passing game--this is not one of those. HO scenes are easy to intermediate, but sometimes have discrepancies. There are many fun mini games that can get pretty hard. The game play, which normally is simply filler in other games, moves you, clue by clue, towards the dark mystery of that night. Overall, it's a smart game, not a time killer. July 18, 2012
i liked this game I thought the story was very interesting and very informative and documentary-like - which makes sense since it's a National Geographic game. I liked the graphics and thought the entire premise was very good. I just wanted to post this in defense of the game; I didn't find it terrible at all. There are lots of HOs; but it is that type of game, so that's what you would expect. I rather liked it.....and have just bought it! July 18, 2012
Another Sinker! Once again we are on board the infamous Titanic and Folks, all I can really say is we have been there and done that so many times, I have out grown the tee-shirt. However, for HOG Fans and those who are fascinated with factoids regarding the Titanic, this game may appeal to you. The graphics are very old, but sharp, animations are very badly done during the opening scene. No voice over, no sound effects and hardly no music. A very silent game. You have alot of HO scenes, non interactive and some mini-games which you can switch to Match 3 if you like, however I really should warn you, the slowest moving M3 I have ever seen. Gameplay is extremely tedious and you have penalty for clicking hich is unfortunate because you need to click away blindly when finding a way out of a scene. You get these annoying little messages that tell you this way is block or task has been completed. There are photo fragments to find and some are so small, you need that hint button which thankfully re-fills quickly. There is nothing special or remotely interesting about the game and as far as the story goes, I doubt anyone will care. Nevertheless, I did manage to play the entire demo and in my opinion, this one should have stayed down with the ship. July 18, 2012
Interesting concept The game has quite interesting story line so far. The underwater museum looks very cool. I like the graphics, though there are moments where you easily spot the animation is not that fluent as one would hoped. Hidden Object scenes are not that hard. The biggest problem for me was that it's very clear when you can go on adventure scenes. The mouse cursor just highlights a bit and it took me a while to find places where I can go. July 18, 2012
Pretty awesome Love this game and love playing it with my son! Nice graphics and storyline. Try it, you won't be disappointed. July 19, 2012
Not so fun Hidden Object Game The storyline is a good concept, but the actual game play leaves a lot to be desired. It took me a while to realize that the cursor (arrow) changes color to indicate where to go. When I got to a place where I was not sure what to do next, I used the hint button. It recharged very quickly, but did not provide any hint whatsoever so I'm assuming it only works in the HO scenes. I played for about 35 minutes and only found one puzzle - a clock where you place all the roman numerals. They were broken up (ex: placing first "V" and then "II" and then "I" for numeral 8), but then I noticed that the cursor changed colors when I was in the right spot - no challenge at all. You have to find photo fragments in each scene - they're tiny, usually blend in too well with the background and one was almost completely off the edge of the screen. I was hoping that they'd each be a puzzle that you put together to form the photo, but no, they just went into a book. I was hoping to like this game so I could take advantage of the extra punch, but it's not worth it. July 18, 2012
Great Hidden Object Game Lots of character and interesting facts to be found in this game. July 19, 2012
Titanic's Keys To The Past Relatively fun with beautiful graphics and compelling story line to give player an account of what truly happened that night 100 + years ago. July 19, 2012
