Nice movies...... From the depths of the Atlantic Ocean to the Red planet, this Sci-Fi themed game, probably somewhat inspired from Battlestar Galactica, shines primarily by the quality of its animations. Indeed a lot of care has been placed into making the intro and cutscenes. They are far above what you see in other casual games and represent a step forward, closer to the movies which are now standard in all hardcore video games and were implemented as early as 2000 in Command and Conquer. This means that casual games are still behind the rest. But, here, the developers showed there was no reason why casual games could not be as polished, and that goes to their credit. However, the main character -the heroine- still looks like a cheap android and not like a human. The voice-over is very good, but the music is totally insignificant. Half the time spent on playing the demo went to the cutscenes and the first three chapters were completed in the trial's hour without skipping anything yet using hints in the HO Scenes. The ride in the train, the diving, as two examples of animations, are rather realistic and almost true to life, but the scenes [the stills] do not present the same level of sophistication. They look like exactly what you get in similar games. I did not like the HO Scenes at all, as they are a clutter full of useless junk where most items are not that visible. Besides the list fills up as you go along, something I don't like either. Luckily the Hint System re-ups fast on Casual. The adventure is simple with relatively very little backtracking. A lot of useful items are tools or technical objects justified by the high-tech environment and/or the tasks you have to perform. I found the puzzles and miniganes incredibly easy, hence perfectly unchallenging. As to the storyline, well, I wasn't too sure what was going on, but it probably makes sense upon completion of the entire game. The game mechanics are very fluid. Gamelength is probably short in spite of the 9 chapters [plus the Bonus Chapter for the CE], the SG is well conceived, the Hints helpful in both pointing at the hidden items and telling you what to do next, there is a map on top of that, and you can adjust the screen resolution. Clearly a game highly pleasant for Sci-Fi lovers and more satisfactory to beginners than seasoned players. I am inclined to recommend the SE. July 22, 2012
Don't give away the story! Wow, didn't see that coming! Story took a 90 degree turn, but I hope the reviewers don't spill the beans on this one. If you plan on playing this game, be someone who enjoys storyline. Without it, you will find the map navigation too easy, and the puzzles meaningless. If you are following the story, the puzzles are part of the plot, and are not overly taxing, but just a fun diversion. Not all HOG items are immediately visible on your list of objects to find, and some items are hidden. I thoroughly enjoyed it. July 22, 2012
This game totally rules!!!!! I am definitely buying this game. No doubts. The demo was just wicked cool. Graphics are awesome, storyline is awesome. I really don't want to be a spoiler. Totally feels like a video game, Lots of Daz3d artwork, Could tell just from her bikini at the beginning. The train, I think you should totally ride that forward and back, would be a cool roller coaster ride. That will make you dizzy. Just too cool. See you Friday. Thanks! This deserves 10 stars. Not 5. Like playing a video game and watching a movie at the same time. July 22, 2012
A great game Ahh, a good game in a theme I love. Not Atlantis, but space. The devs on this one knew thier stuff about science. Made this game better for the gamers that love science. My fav thing was the map, I didn't have to memorize everything. The hint, which refills pretty fast btw, will take you to the place to go, but not tell you what to do when you get there, I found I liked that, however you could click on hint when you get there. Both the visual and sound were good. I actualy liked the music. I really like this one! July 22, 2012
Ancient Egypt meets sci-fi.... Would prefer to give this game 4 1/2 stars as it is slightly on the short side. Catered for wide-screen with stunning graphics (in one spot you go down an elevator and I actually felt my stomach drop from the descent). This game was probably more adventure orientated than hidden object. Hidden object scenes were interactive, and bar one the puzzles were easy. But more time was spent doing such things as looking for keys to open doors, which involved a fair bit of going back and forward. There were bonus 'digital records' to collect, but no achievements to earn. Storyline flowed well, and was slightly different to the standard plot. Bonus chapter was an okay length and wasn't essential to the story [was 'his' story, whilst the main game was 'her' story]. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. July 23, 2012
Great game! I just finished my hour & I was greatly impressed! This is a new venue for BF & I thoroughly enjoyed it. The guide & the hint button were very informative & it seemed like the hour was over too soon because I was really getting into it. A definite buy for me! July 22, 2012
This game rocks my world! This story line is not the same old same old. This is a totally new epic adventure hidden object game. The graphics are top notch, the game fills my widescreen laptop and the story sucks you in from the get go. My hour demo was finished before I knew it. There's a moderate amount of hidden object scenes which I think is perfect. All in all a FANTASTIC game. July 22, 2012
Fantastic! Haven't been this captivated playing a game for a long time. This game has everything going for it, and the bonus game is actually another game, different scenes, different story, different puzzles, what a bonus should be. Gives the time travel map and it shows you all you need to know to collect what you need. More games like this one please! July 23, 2012
All I can say is WOW! This game was amazing!!! I was thrilled to see a different type other than the insane asylum. Wonderful storyline, stunning graphics, just one of the best games I've played in a long long time. Thanks! We want more like these!! July 23, 2012
WELL CRAFTED GAME Another great game by the dev. This is a sci fi game which we have not seen for awhile. The graphics are exceptional and the characters are lifelike. The HOG scenes are easy but you need to move things or combine things to solve them. Also, the puzzles are relatively easy as well. Well crafted July 22, 2012
